Tannehill's 6/6 TD drive - Video

And this is going to be the test. Will the offense still look fluid and be productive when teams are actually game-planning for it? Because the Falcons certainly weren't.

And I am not trying to be a Debbie Downer here. I'm very happy to see that Lazor is bringing in the Chip Kelly concepts. Very happy. But I am very, very worried about our running game.

Justifiably so, although I can't wait to see the exciting style of play from Moreno.

What I was disappointed about is that he "went vanilla" pretty much with the 2's...

Also, there wasn't as much motion as I was expecting...and not very "hurried-up"...

Would make sense to open the playbook in a game where the starters play 1 series....

Don't think Moreno will have any problem when healthy winning the starting gig. Want to like Miller, but he does not have that it factor of taking it to the House on any given play like Reggie did. I think Moeno can be that Dude.

I rewatched a few more times and I think you are right. I think he got rid of the ball quickly and he would have had to dance around a bit if he were to wait for the TE to turn his head in the flat. after re watching this I think the TE is the escape route in this progression. Still could have been a big gainer!!

In regard to the check down to Matthews on 3rd, it looked like the right read. The TE in the flat did not yet have his head turned, and Tannehill took the (relatively) easy conversion.

Disturbing lack of Go's and Go-Go's in that video.

So happy about this omission!

moreno is a player in your mind who can house it on any given play like reggie bush ??? L O L

I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be disappointed with what Moreno will actually bring to this offense...

Exactly what I've been thinking. I hope I'm wrong, but I've been incredibly unimpressed by Knowshon Moreno as a pro.

Lol..he didnt attempt or make one even fairly difficult throw. hitting RB;s out of the backfield and dumpoffs over the middle is not something that gets me excited about our 1st rd QB

Isn't the goal of an offense to be able to move the ball and score while staying away from difficult passes? I'm confused?

Which is how Lazor's QB last year played 13 games and only threw 2 interceptions. We have a OC who is designing plays where players are actually wide open and you think that is a bad thing??

Yet it resulted in a 149.3 QB rating and over 10 YPA...garbage!

Given that Tannehill rated top 5 in throwing from a clean pocket last year, I'd say this is playing to your QB's strengths. Work smarter not harder?
