Team Needs (Miami Dolphins from Bleacher Report)

Agree, don't reach.
It's more than reaching. You'd basically be drafting a player to pay him $12m - $15m per season to sit on the bench to back up Tua.

When Miami could theoretically, select another player, at a different position of need and actually play him.

It just doesn't make any sense. To pay top 5 money and sit him. All while your still paying Tua, $50m plus per season. That's wasting valuable money and resources.

Don't disagree, but I think that's unrealistic. Unless Miami ends up with the number one overall pick, I just don't see a team trading the rights for Manning.

I agree. Even if the guy turns out to be more Eli than Peyton, you have a chance to draft him you get him unless someone offers you 2 drafts like the RW deal but double....hey Ditka what do you think 🤔 😂

I seem to recall us paying Teddy or Brisket 8-10 a year to ride bench and look at Ipads?

You do realize that they wasted 43 MILLION in dead cap just this season? In 2025, they have already wasted 16 million and will probably waste more cutting Armstead and Chubb, that is wasting valuable resources!

They currently are on the hook for big money for a Qb that is not reliable health wise moving forward, something needs to be done to the teams most important position.

TYLER WARREN IS WHAT WE NEED HONESTLY AND YES IM YELLING IT AT YOU ALL!

We need a dominating TE who can be a safety value to our offense and Qb's. Warren is one of if not the best TE in College football right now and we desperately need one that can dominate the game.

Let's see how AJ ends up playing and if he plays bad how easily is to get rid of his contract without a huge salary cap hit.
But drafting another tackle after getting Paul and with AJ extension. Plus we also have Armstrad's contract to deal with in case he doesnt want to retire.
We have issues at Tackle but we have bigger issues at Guard and DT and Safety if Holland leaves.
Not saying they would, but a post June 1 cut would be a $2.5 million hit.this would save $11 million on the cap. Just depending upon who was BPA at time of draft.

This is crazy talk.

If Miami wins vs the colts they would be a playoff spot with their qb returning.

Let’s wait a few weeks before they go off the deep end….

I've been out here for a while.

The only way we are going to get Manning is if we tank in 2025 and we secure the number 1 draft pick.

Unfortunately I don't think we will tank in 2025 so Manning is not going to happen.

Our long term QB situation is really a conundrum now that we gave Tua a long term contract and he suffered another concussion.

It doesn't look like Tua is going to retire so we have to either get a real backup QB or draft a QB who can legitimately play at a high level.

Whatever we do I just hope Grier is not the one making the decisions.

So you'd be willing to waste another $15m plus, per season, on a rookie backup QB.
