Last year? yes. This year? Well I hate to see a young promising guy go out, but it is one injury, and he WASN'T a starter yet. Try to keep things in perspective and stay away from gloom and doom for another couple of weeks. Thanks. :DJethatr said:We've just been cursed with injuries.

Actually, it seems that in most cases an ACL tear happens without any contact as opposed to MCL and LCL knee injuries. The MCL and LCL injuries are typically when a player get's hit from the side and the knee buckles inward or outward (depending on the direction of the hit). I've torn both of my ACLs playing volleyball. No contact whatsoever.PeterJNO said:I tore mine without contact. It's as easy as plant, cut, and twist. I was simply juking when I tore mine. I guess we dont know for sure. I was just sorta following the crowd on this one.NIMA said:Are we even SURE it's a torn ACL yet? I thought the sources were saying they thought it could be.
