Bridgwater is the same as tanny. They both will get you 8 wins. What is the point of going after him? They still don't know what they are doing. Either roll with tanny and draft a qb this year and next year if they want to be somewhat competitive, or just draft a qb this year and let him compete with faulk. Then most likely they will be in postition next year to get what they really want.

Will be interesting to hear the details of what we offered but I think Finphan54 is right we probably offered little more than back up money to see if we could get him on the cheap, that's fine totally get him wanting to stay where he is to hold the clipboard.

Multiple reports said we werent interested and may not have offered him anything. Regardless, its a pointless signing unless you think he is a long term answer.

I get that. But there's no guarantee that's right around the corner. Brees has shown no signs of age.

More money to start in your hometown or less money to hold a clipboard behind Brees. Something is missing.
