Tell me again how Tannehill is a bust.

I bet the Jet fans would love to swap QB's...

Well, being open to them and being convinced by them are two different things. ;)

So are being open and being transparently biased against.

listen Thill is not a bust by any means...but he does have places he needs to improve...he HAS to hit Wallace on that deep ball...and that INT was a bad one...but yes after that he settled down did what he had to do and got us a win...and the D almost coughed it up again

Agreed.

I'm open to any objective arguments in support of the idea that Tannehill's performance this year is due more to other parts of the team than to his current ability.

Now, we've already gone 'round and 'round about this with regard to the offensive line, and we've disagreed, so I don't suspect this time around will be any different.

You see objective evidence that other parts of the team are responsible for his play, and I do not. I think we should probably just leave it there and call it a day.

You are COMPLETELY incapable of being objective about Tannehill. Everyone on this entire board sees it.

Your defense for doing this is a "If you don't like what I'm doing, prove me wrong" stance.

Here's the thing:

I don't think anyone on this board likes Tannehill as much as you dislike him.

It's like a stalker saying, "WELL...GO STALK SOMEONE ELSE AND PROVE THAT THEY'RE MORE WORTH MY TIME!"

Seriously. Please. Go the #### away with your anti-Tannehill agenda.

Hartline had 6 drops tonight, what about our D not being able to stop the run, this is a work in progress team and we have a young QB that is learning, it takes time

I thought it was tannehills fault when the defense can't stop the run. there has to be some plot twist that makes that tannehills fault...

"If you can't attack the evidence, attack the witness." ;)

Every bit of data I've ever posted here is independently verifiable. We don't need to talk about me to talk about the data. You can verify it yourself and discredit it if need be, or you can interpret it in your own way. Again, who I am and what I do has nothing to do with that process.

Of course, it's a whole lot easier to believe one has "discredited" the evidence by discrediting the person, rather than investigating the data oneself and interpreting them another way, but the target has been misplaced in that instance. The data are still there, regardless of who's posting them, and regardless of how credible the person posting them is believed to be.

"If we can believe this guy who calls himself "shouright" on a message board is biased, then Ryan Tannehill really isn't just average, since that's what that guy is saying." This isn't true, however. I can be as biased as the day is long, and Ryan Tannehill can still be just average. :)
