the bosox are done and u guys know it.....the yanks will prevail and the sox will perish
Who the hell are you, someone who has never made a post in either thread all season, to rub salt in wounds.
There are words for people like you: Hater/Loser/Pu$$y.

Hanging onto Lester, Hansen and getting Wily Mo plate appearences will pay huge dividends for this franchise down the road. Get Pedroia up here, and take a look where Ellsbury stands in Double A Portland.

The future is bright..

Bring up Murphy too.

I really hope Theo knows what he's doing or we are screwed.

ive made posts here or there.....not on here all the time...but i am definitely gonna talk after a 5 game sweep....i heard it from a ton of bosox fans how this was the series we would break down and im glad we had such a valiant effort and strong showing.....a hater would be someone hating on somebody who's better (i.e Bosox fan) A loser is self explanatory (i.e 5 game sweep) and a pu$$y im not just talking smack kid.....relax

Take a look at the article on the front page of CBS Sportsline. Theo talks about balancing the short term with the long term successes of the franchise. It's a pretty good article, and it's almost like he knew that this team wasn't winning anything this year so he held onto our young assets. He's proven that if feels the team has potential to make noise in the postseason, he'll pull the trigger on a blockbuster deal (see 2003 and 2004 deadlines).

I trust Theo alot, especially when it comes to the farm system.. he basically completely reloaded our entire system that had been ravaged from the Duquette era in only 2-3 years.

Yes but It's time the word potential starts to pay dividends (Papelbon excluded).

IMO, it starts now.

WEEI's phone line just went from a sports talk show call number to a suicide hotline!

Really? I've been listening to it all day.. don't know exactly what you're talking about.

Sox fans have taken this pretty well.. I haven't talked to (or heard on WEEI) one that is completely torn apart over this.

Can't compete every year when you're trying to infuse young talent into the roster. We'll be better off because of it, but thanks for your concern.

I cant wait to tune in :D , you see this isnt new for the sox, every year before 03' they'd get off to a great start and fall apart after the all-star game. Anyways they still have a slim chance at the post season, Chicago could lose 8 of their next 10, thats just baseball.
