Never was to high on MacDougal, but he pitched very well tonight.

Garcia gave up runs in the first.

Seems are pitchers aren't dominating like last year, hope this changes come playoff time.

MacDougal was rookie of the year for the Royals but than ran into some injuries. Hard to be a closer for the Royals considering it means you pitch about once a week. I think the long season last year is the reason the pitchers are struggling and that they pitched way too many innings. The lone guy who has really turned it around this year after a dreadful start is Garland.

Damn, rookie of the year. He doesn't seem to be to be injured, meaning he was throwing sloid pitches. Though, he does look quite skinny, he doesn't look like a pitcher. Glad he is a White Sox player.

Buerhle is the only pitcher left we need to lockdown correct????

I believe his contract runs out at the end of next season. I think they'll get something done eventhough his struggles the 2nd half of this season. If I recall correctly somebody maybe A.J. Pierzynski stated last year that Buehrle and Konerko run the locker room.

11-5 vs the Tigers this season, huge series vs Twins coming up.

As of today my prediction is White Sox vs Yanks and Detroit vs LAA in the playoffs.

Detroit being the #1 seed can't play Chi in rd 1 and LAA having a worse record than NY so......those would be the match-ups.

Boston is done and I don't think Minny is the same team without Lirano.

I think Oakland gets in but this weekend series with Minnesota gives the Sox an opportunity to create some space between them and the Twins. Now the Twins have the same opportunity so we'll see. Somewhere they've gotta have a dropoff right? Anyway I think if the Red Sox fall farther out of contention than Ortiz probably shouldn't be MVP and the award should go to either Dye/Morneau/Jeter.

Jim Thome is going to miss the Twins series. Dye is crushing the ball. We need to take out the Twins to keep atop of the Wild Card.

Looks like another loss for us, not going to make the playoffs if we can't beat the team that is now ahead of us for the Wild Card.:shakeno:

DYE with a 2-run homerun in the bottom of the 9th, alright let's win this damn game!!!!!!!!
