The Debate is FINALLY settled...The Fiedler haters.....WIN!!!

We should get mad at wansteadt for game planning weak throws and bad decisions.

Praising someone that is really an unknown is praising change. The best thing Feeley does have going for him is he is not Fiedler. Fiedler had 4 years to win over the fans. Good games, good wins, the fans would of loved him. I don't wnat to boo fiedler. I don't want to hate Fiedler. I am just sick of wincing everytime I see him go back to pass. I am sick of thanking god that the defensive back dropped the interception. I am sick of seeing an offense that is limited because of the quarterback.

If it is all the game plan, we would be able to see a quarterback who is playing better than the game plan. However we don't.
Well said:lol:

Is there any doubt? Any? Any? I dare a Fiedler hugger to come in here and defend this piece of crap.

Ya, GREAT. As I've said for a long time if you guys were right you were still wrong. After all look at our team now. I just do not get some of you ppl.

Is being correct so important to some they have to poo poo their team at the very same time. Don't expect me to say GREAT call on this one. I don't see anything to be proud about.

Here is the bottom line with Jay Fiedler. All anyone has ever done for this bum is make excuses. After his first season, his poor play was the receivers' fault. So, Miami changes their receiving corps from top to bottom. Ooops. After his second season, his poor play was blamed on Lamar Smith and the running game. So, Miami trades a bounty for Ricky Williams, passing up an opportunity to eventually draft Patrick Ramsey. This was going to improve Jay's game. Ooops!! Now, it is the fault of the back up QB and the receivers again. So, Miami brings in Brian Griese and addresses the receiver position again. Ooops!!! His poor play was then the fault of the offensive line. Now, that has been completely changed. Pretty soon, you will realize that you can only change things around Jay Fiedler so much till you realize that Jay Fiedler is the problem.

I'm guessing that Dave's "sleeping on it" so he can think up some new excuses.
Yep that's Wanny for you:eek:

I've been a Fiedler fan for years (because of his heart and mettle).

However, since the ARRIVAL of Feeley (having known his past in Philly), I have FULLY supported him. I do NOT want to see Couch/Holcombe Part 2.

I sometimes feel as though Wanny has this chip on his shoulder. That he feels EVERYONE is against him and he is DETERMINED to do things HIS WAY no matter who he pisses off. He ran Ricky into the ground in OBVIOUS passing situations. He's defiantly kept Jay as the starter. Remember, Rick JUST GOT THE JOB. Feeley is the FIRST NON-WANNY pick to challenge Jay. And, I honestly feel the "look at the tape" comment is Wanny's way of saying, "Jay is gonna start no matter what other's think. I just need to find ANY error by a WR to blame it on someone other than Jay."

Today, we saw 1/2 of a game. And in that 1/2, we saw the Rick Spielman show with Feeley and Gordon. I couldn't believe Gordon got that much action THIS EARLY. I think that FACT alone should tell EVERYONE that EVEN WANNY is impressed with the guy. I think we've found our next stud RB. THANKS RICK!

Feeley generated 168 yards 1 TD and 1 INT in one HALF of a game. If he would have played a full game, that 's 336 yards 2 TDs and 2 INTs. I'll take that any day. 336 yards in the air is an offensive threat we have not had in Jay's tenure. It's TIME FOR CHANGE.

HOWEVER, I feel everyone is in for a HUGE surprise. I see Jay starting AGAIN OR Feeley getting yanked if he fails early. I think Wanny will stand behind his preseason assessment of annoiting Fiedler the starter. He didn't spend all offseason placing Jay in a position to start just to jerk him after one HALF and never play him the rest of the season. Wanny's still got fight in him. For all those who think it is OBVIOUS.... remember this... Who had better stats in preseason? Who did the FO choose? Who did WAYNE say was the next Marino?

Now, answer this.... WHO is the Head Coach? WHO is his CHOICE?

This is Dave's swan song... he's not going down with someone else's QB leading HIS team. Let's just prepare to face it guys.... Fiedler will start/play again.

"I don't like it... any more than you men."

Wannstedt better wake up and realise he should turn thr offense over to Coaches Trestman, Sullivan and Foerster. He can work with Bates on D.

So, you are admitting that Jay sucked it up big time today? That when he needed to show up and prove Wanny correct...

"Jay has played the best I've ever seen him play this preseason" -Wanny

That Jay choked? After four years of starting? After having the advantage of knowing many of the offensive players? Knowing the system better?

Let me bottom line it for you. We need a BETTER QB than Jay Fiedler. That QB MIGHT be Feeley, it might not. We need to play the kid and see. If both guys are bad, then we know we need a QB for next year.

Hanging on to Jay, just because Wanny says he is "good enough" is foolish. Fiedler is NOT good enough, time has proved that. Today showed it, again.

I don't blame Jay for him starting all these years. It is Wanny to has been blind to his limitations and both should be gone this year. If Feeley tanks too, than Rick is on thin ice as GM.

No true Dolphin fan is HAPPY to see the team lose today. Some good can come out of it though if Feeley is given his chance. I would not put it past Wanny to start Jay AGAIN next week though. :shakeno: He is so afraid of admitting he chose the wrong QB all these years, when he should have went out and got a better one.

Did your "contact" give you the idea to post this?

I will defend Jay.

What he has done for this team the last 4 years has been excellent. Problem? He followed up a hall of famer. Simple as that. You Jay haters have bashed him year in and out. Griese could not unseed him, and that hurt your feelings, neither could the great Ray Lucas. I hope you get everything you want out of Feeley, and quote me on this all year long "The next Brian Griese".

You don't know what you got til its gone.

Take that to your contact. Hero.
Just as long as he's not the next Fiedler we'll be fine. Fiedler is a product of the system. He is the worst starting qb in the league. Plain and simple.
