2020 cant get here soon enough
Yup. If he took Lane Johnson instead that probably saves his scaly skin.
And in the mean time despite Jon Martin playing fairly well in the preseason when things don't count, what if he starts playing poorly during the regular season?
You've got a General Manager whose contract is expiring this year. Clearly the owner wants to see results before he re-ups him, or else he'd have done it already. So indeed...when we look back we could be thinking to ourselves that taking Dion Jordan #3 overall did indeed seal Jeff's fate. And that's not even assuming Dion becomes a bust. He could still become a premier player inthe league.
Can you all believe this Thread? I wrote this back IN AUGUST!!! Who would have thought that EVERYTHING I SAID would come to fruition 5 months later?

The owner walked into the conference room where all the coaches and Ireland sat. He asked all of them which player in this draft would have the most impact or something along those lines.
They all said Jordan.
So if you want to bag on Ireland for that. I dont know what to say. Thats just being honest.
I just hope the next guy can figure out we need 4 OL starters pronto.
Yeah, except Ireland did get a new contract and didn't get firedCan you all believe this Thread? I wrote this back IN AUGUST!!! Who would have thought that EVERYTHING I SAID would come to fruition 5 months later?
