The Dolphins have more Positives than negatives

my sentiments exactly.

add this to it , we will go as far as as our qb and receivers will take us the receiving corp has to step up.

Yes the receivers need to step up. And McMike can't keep dropping passes the way he did on Sat against Pitt...

"All of the players drafted will make an immediate impact". As backups? Roth? Alabi? Wright? Vickerson?

I can agree with that, these guys are projects, not so much Roth he has to step up sooner, the O line so far does not give me any feeling of confidence that they can do the job, that said I think we are definately moving in the right direction and look forward to seeing how Saban handles things.

I am sure Saban would love to win a preseason game just for the sake of notching a win but he isn't vain enough to think that is a necessity right now. Since this is his first year with all of these players with this team he must evaluate "all" of the players and not just the new additions and rookies. I can imagine it must be exceptionally difficult to incorporate new defensive and offensive schemes and evaluate talent at the same time. I am not naive enough to think there are not other new head coaches who are in similar situations, but Saban faces unique circumstances in Miami with no established Quarterback, no established offensive line, questions at running backs and underachieving wide receivers and tight ends. You also must take into consideration that Miami lost a starting LB and has only one regular returning, (J. Taylor) from Miami's original starting defensive line, (Chester may still be back). Saban has a daunting task and I am sure he will use every minute of every preseason game to evaluate existing talent and to find the best way to utilize the availbale talent he has on this team.
