The Gary Kubiak Offense: concepts and analysis

Jim Caldwell just accepted the Lions HC job.

Miami getting Kubiak just became a little bit more realistic, IMO.
Wow...I really feel for the Lions fans...man that organization just doesn't get it.

what detroit needs the most is a disciplinarian that holds guys accountable and they hire jim quiet as a mouse caldwell as the head coach...you couldn't make this stuff up if you tried

assanine

So now there are two head coaching jobs left - Cleveland and Minnesota.

Cleveland is apparently smitten with Broncos OC Adam Gase.

Minnoesta meanwhile appears to be down to three options - Mike Zimmer and Todd Bowles are two of them.

So the odds of Kubiak not landing a head coaching gig as of now seem fairly good.

There are a few other teams looking for new offensive coordinators but fingers crossed...

Do you remember when Caldwell was the HC at Wake Forest? Holy crap did that team suck and when they asked him about recruiting he gave some excuse about not being able to recruit at Wake Forest...exactly what you want to hear from your head coach lol.

I think Minnesota goes Mike Zimmer but they could be eyeing the OC from Seattle and waiting till the playoffs/super bowl is over.

It would seem the Browns and Vikings are waiting for the remaining playoff teams to be done.

"Despite this, we only used play action passing on 15.4% of attempts." SHERMAN!!!!

Play action doesn't work if you can't run the ball though.

Cleveland going after the guy who just happens to have the job description "Offensive Coordinator" for the team that happens to have Peyton Manning would be the most Cleveland move possible.

i remember him with the colts somehow cause i literally never saw him open his mouth once when the camera panned to him in game...ha ha...not joking...what was memorable was how little he was doing...like nothing...could have been a cardboard cut out would have been the same

good luck getting nick fairleys attention with that guy...dumb

Walrus, just wondering why don't you think we have the receiver core to run those route combinations?

Hartline is perfect for the sideline comeback route and he and Tannehill are already money on that play. Gibson and Matthews already run good shallow crossing routes, and for the home run/deep threat we have Wallace running a post. Plus we already have an H-back in Clay who can run the shallow PA pass from bootlegs. To me we are only missing a TE. What are you seeing that I don't?
