I highly doubt this will play any large factor. These are professional athletes we are talking about with professional coaches. THey will be hydrated and in shape. I remember two years ago we played the second week in Jax and the big "thing" was going to be our dark blue uniforms in the humidity and heat. I think the score ended up being 44-10? SO it played no factor.

We shall see though.

The game is not in Denver, the heat is different down here. If it's close in the 4th the Broncos are in trouble. Your guys will be cramping if it's a hot day.

I am a Meteorologist and a heat expert. The forecast high temperature for Miami on Sunday is 90 degrees. This combined with dewpoint temperatures in the low to mid 70s could produce a heat index of 100+.

In Denver, the high today was a cool 77 degrees and the morning low was a chilly 56. The previous three days, the highs were in the 90 to 94 degree range, but the humidity was very low.

If Sunday's forecast is accurate, a heat index of 100+ will will cause significantly more heat stress on the Denver players who are not acclimated to these type of weather conditions. The bottom line, Miami has a significant weather advantage in this game with the heat.

Dude I live 200 miles north of Miami in Orlando and when I goto Miami, which is usually 3 to 4 times a month I feel like I am going to die because of the humidity.

I stand by what I posted. You have to experience the heat and humidity in South Florida to understand the advantage we will have.

Yes, but miami has humidity alot worse then in colorado. That's what is gonna wear them down. Actually South Florida has the worst humidity in the united states.

I didn't really think about that. I'am from Kansas and the humidity is bad there also. Yes Kansas.

I remember a game when the Bills played The Dolphins in early September. It was so HOT that Bruce Smith and the Bill's defense were so exhausted from the heat. They were all sucking wind. The Dolphins ran all over them in the 4 quarter. And won the game, the game was in the early 1990's. IT IS NOT. :evil:

as much as I love to have advantages in football games. I just want to win the game because we are the better team, and because we played better. Not because of the elements. Because these elements won't be there come November and December. The south-florida weather is one of our false pretenses that given us an advantage in the beginning of the season and therefore masking our deficiencies. Once the climate changes so that the humidity is a non-factor our flaws are exposed and exploited. I just want this team to go out and kick some arse. NO MORE PRE-SNAP PENALTIES, THEY DRIVE ME CRAZY :fire:

I think the humidity will be a factor, much like the thin air is a factor when playing in Denver. I live in VA and the humidity is just as bad here (although the base temperature is not as bad), so I know how bad it can be. Except that I'm not a professional athlete. :)

I think you'll see the all-white uni's this weekend.

Our game last year was close, with a worse defense, with worse running backs, a worse starting quarterback, a worse coaching staff, and it was on the road.

A win this week will make me as happy as I've been with the Dolphins in a long time.

its been hot, dry, and humid here in denver, its been cooler in Fl than it has been here. if theres anyone who wont get tired on denver its Mike Anderson, you know wat we go through to be Marines? that man will be anything but tired
