i really don't think he tries to be a superstar i think he tries to please everybody to much

I think he tries to take guys off the dribble to the basket FAR to much and makes stupid shots

Like I said I was a really big fan of his this year untill I really made it a point to look at his shot selection

Don't be so sure of your team all it takes is a couple lucky games, bad shots, injuries anything it's only 4 games.

Let me guess...the Nets are winning in 3 games because Indiana will forfeit game 4?

first up on our victims list is Chicago than New Jersey than Detroit, it will be a tough road to the finals

IMO when he went to ATL

His numbers have stayed the same though. So how is that "downhill"?

Now is his time to prove his worthiness to nbe on this team.

he was brought in to make the Piston frontline players work on defense.

Last year, the Heat had NO front court player besides SHAQ capable of a dynamic performance.

He NEEDS to nulify whatever Rasheed scores against us in the ECF...

If we can stay within 10 points of the pistons at the PF position (Haslem, Toine vs. Sheed, McDyesse) we will be fine.

When did his career go downhill?

Like FinFan86 said when he went to atl. He was a star Boston with Pierce. If he was anything like he was in his good years in Boston then he would NOT be coming off the Heat's bench.

Hes exactly the same player he was in Boston....thats a big part of the problem. The question always was whether he would be able to adapt to the role of a supporting player, and he hasnt. Its fine when he plays the role of backup PF, plays 15 minutes and gets to be the primary offensive threat the majority of the time on the floor. I dont ever want him to be on the floor with Shaq again. It just doesnt work.

anyone know new information on Zo's Status for Round 1 of the playoffs?

Yes what is Zo's status? I don't think we will 'need' him to win the first series.. but round 2 is a different story.

ZO is playin'.

As for Toine...this "downhill" stuff is from guys that haven't seen him play...and just hear all the moaning and belly aching...

He is the same exact player he was..

As for Toine coming off the bench...that was the plan..if you are a Heat fan..you knew that we struggled for scoring off the bench at times last year..that is what he was brought in for.

He was put on the bench from day one...

Don't forget that he came off the bench for Dallas when he was an All-Star...

Well then he was always a ball hog with poor shot selection, that doesnt change the fact that when he isnt shooting well, which seems to be often lately, he is a liability to this team

I usually agree with you about the Heat though
