ZO is playin'.

As for Toine...this "downhill" stuff is from guys that haven't seen him play...and just hear all the moaning and belly aching...

He is the same exact player he was..

As for Toine coming off the bench...that was the plan..if you are a Heat fan..you knew that we struggled for scoring off the bench at times last year..that is what he was brought in for.

'Toine has always been great, don't you know great players always play on 4 teams in 3 years? he was even sent back to Boston again and again they got rid of him. His #s might be similar per minute but he is not a winning player and that's part of the reason he's ben shipped around but of course sine he is a member of the heat now he's great along w/ jason Williams guys who you would be criticizing if they played for another team.

First of all..don't say I would be critizing them if they weren't here.

Toine has been shipped around for many reasons..

and lastly..I don't understand what your post is getting at.

Toine has played well WITHOUT SHAQ and W/ the second unit. J-Will has had a VERY GOOD SEASON for us this year. Just facts.

Just because you want to rip them because they are Heat players..don't forget the facts.

Especially on J-Will. It is very telling that you still want to rip on him also.

Ask any Heat fan...they are kissing the ground that we have J-Will..he is the first real PG we have had since Tim hardaway.

I wouldn't be surprised if you thought that.

We will see.

No i'm not the one that thinks my teams has no chance of losing to any team with a lower seed.

I can't believe that a Heat fan in here said, "I'd love to play Indiana"

Other than the obvious Detroit, I fear that Indiana team more than anyone (at least equal to New Jersey). They always turn it up in the playoffs.

Anyways, I was kind've hoping for Chicago and that is who we got. Miami in 4, 5 at the most.....

Washington is really good though
Washington sucks, as does Cleveland. Should be a great series nonetheless.

There are only 4 teams in the East; Detroit, Miami, New Jersey, & Indiana. Nobody else matters.

first up on our victims list is Chicago than New Jersey than Detroit, it will be a tough road to the finals

Yall need to stop overlooking that Indiana team. They are for real, and IMO, will take New Jersey to 7 games unless they beat them in 6. Those two teams match up very, very well with each other.

isn't Indiana a really bad rebounding team?

and I am not the one that thinks that a 14 game winning streak erases 50 years of NBA playoff history.

I agree with Section. We finally found an answer for our PG problem.

I like Williams; I think he's a good fit for the Heat. He's become a competent shooter (presumably because he's getting a lot more open looks with Wade and Shaq around). Here's the weird thing, though: his assist rate (the percentage of possessions that end in an assist) has dropped three straight years, and is much lower than it was last year. It was 27.7 this year, which is right around league average for a point guard. It was a very healthy 32.8 last year, though, and he didn't have Shaq and Wade to pass to, just Pau Gasol and a bunch of fair-to-middlin' offensive talents.

I suppose the Heat don't necessarily need a first class, dime-dishing point though, since the offense runs through Wade anyway.

so how many games do we take Chicago in? I say we sweep them in 4

Hollinger is a disease....makes people think they can analyze a player based on looking at his statistical garbage. JWill's job on this team is to get the ball past half court and hand it off to the stars. He is great on the fast break and makes some spectacular plays but his primary role is that of a SG....take the open three or drive by the guy if its a mismatch. Wade and Payton are the PGs on this team in the half court set offense.

JWill does have a few plays per game where breaks down the defense off dribble penetration and sets up a teammate but that role is generally reserved for Wade. Hopefully next year (assuming they dont blow up the team again) JWill will be given more opportunities to display his passing skills.
