Wade is the absolute man... he took over that game from start to finish...

If he really starts getting a 3pt shot down... he will become unstoppable...

Defenders wont be able to give him a cushion anymore... allowing him to fly right by them...

If They play like that, with Wade leading the way, they will be a dominating force!!!

he looked great. He wasn't as explosive it seemed, but he didn't take it to the basket as much. The heat defense was really on, so the lane was clogged all night.

He hit jumpers though.

That's what was wrong with the Nets. They weren't attacking the basket as much as they were in game 1. In game 1, Carter and Jefferson were driving to the basket every chance they got. In game 2 with Jefferson not being able to drive the Heat were able to focus almost all thier attention on stopping Vince from driving and did a very good job. As a Nets fan i didn't expect the Nets to win game 2 because i didn't think Jefferson was going to play but atleast he did and showed that he'll be ok in future games, but still isn't himself. Game 3 should be more of a close game then 3 previous 2 blowouts.

Are you kidding me? I can't believe what I am reading on this site. What a bunch of homer comments. NJ did the same thing to the HEat in game 1. If Jefferson stayed in the whole game 1, the nets would have won by 30 points. I am a Nets fan, and felt good after game 1, but I knew that we wouldn't be able to shoot like that every game. Just like the Heat. Wade had an amazing game, and needs to have that same game each night if the Heat are going to win. Last night was ugly, no doubt about that. But if you guys think that the Heat are gonna play like that every night this series, then I will send you a postcard from Detriot. We did what we had to do, and that was win 1 out of 2 games in Miami. Now it is up to the Heat to take one in NJ. NJ is very good at home. Miami is also but the Nets proved over the regular season that they can beat the Heat in Miami. The Heat haven't beaten the Nets at home yet. It has been two straight blowouts, but i feel the rest of the series will be pretty even.

I agree with almost everything you said. Both teams will not shoot like the did in each of thier wins. The rest of the games should be pretty even after each team has had thier "don't miss" game.

Yes and your not a homer at all

There is a reason the Heat won 52 games even with TONS of injury problems the entire year

I wont send you a postcard from Detroit, I'll send you one from Dallas when we play the Mavs in the finals

Hows he a homer he never eevn said anything about the nets winning he said the rest of the games are prolly going to be closier then the last 2 games which is true. Both the Heat and the Nets won't shoot like that again.

Im gonna say the heat win the next game take it to 2-1...nets win the next 2 go up 3-2...heat win game 6 and then the nets take the 7th

he also said

'I'll send you a postcard from detroit'

And went on talking like the Heat arent capable of making shots

EDIT - I read his post somewhat wrong

But I still stand by what I said just not the harsh way I said it

That makes no sense.

You have the Heat winning two games in New jersey...and the Nets beating the Heat 3 times at home. Not going to happen.

Rethink your prediction. The Heat won't lose 3 games at home in a series to ANYBODY.

:yeahthat:

And people are going to say its a homer comment, but when you win 52 games, even in a season where you have injuries piled up left and right you earn the right to make comments like those, its not outragous

The Heat is much more likely to shoot like that again though. After all..like I said before..they shot like that against the Bulls 4 times..and the Bulls had the #1 defense in the NBA.

these playoffs are so crazy where it could easily happen and you know that man...In reality though I still believe the nets will take this series

I don't know that. I would bet any amount that you can count that the Nets won't beat the Heat 3 times in Miami in this series.

Wade proved they cant guard him, and if he knocks down the 3's like that its just iceing on the cake.

I have the idea the only reason Walker started was due to Jeffersons injury, Watch for Posey to start at the 3 if it looks like Jefferson is full speed. Walkers lack of quickness needed to guard him was washed away by the fact Jeffersons ankle is hurting, if he gets back to full health I think the quicker player Posey will start

There is no way that they shoot like that again. They were hitting everything from outside. When wade makes 3 threes you know it's somewhat lucky. We all know wade isn't a 3 point shooter. The whole Heats team was on just like the whole Nets team was on in game 1.
