PLain and simple, we didnt take advantage of our opportunities...we shot 6-20 from the line...nasty. aNd Section was right, Wade had his bad night, Boy if i were the Pisstons, id be afraid of Wade on Friday. I saw the Press conference and he looked a wee bit upset and focused and ready for Game 6...

ALso, we need Daddy in there for more than 12 minutes in the first half. I suspect that some of that was Detroit home cooking, which will not be a factor @ home.

GO HEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boy Detroit hits some bull**** shots. Like that shot shaq blocked that went into tay-tay's hand only to make the shot.

Yeah, that was the dagger.:shakeno:

Now we've gotta take care of business where we do it best, folks.

Pressure on us? Nah, Detroit is the back-to-back Conference champs, and they're the ones down 3-2. Go figure. Miami plays our game and we win, plain & simple. Miami, especially high energy guys like Dwyane Wade, feeds off the home crowd in great fashion. Let's do the damn thing.

Let's get this NBA Finals party started in the the M-I-Yayoooooooooo......

Come on refs! You know you want 3 more nights at South Beach during the Finals!

First off let me say hats off to Detroit, they actually beat us this time, unlike game 2 that was handed to them, we just didnt play well and they took advantage

Second off let me say we let that game get away, we had all the chances and never took advantage, every time we had a chance we started BS'ing around, and you cant do that against a team like Detroit

Third off let me ask if Pat Riley has Altsheimers Disease, 1:57 left down by 10 and you bench Wade? Did he not remember game 2? 17 team points in 30 damn seconds? No chance at that without Wade on the court

Fourth Let me say great effort by Wade, Zo, and even Haslem who was off his game but still gave a gritty effort.

Fifth let me say J-Will dont ****ing foul Chauncy Billups every time he drives, let him shot a damn fadeaway jumper, he isnt going to make 90% of those like he does from the line

Last but not least, Antoine what happend to your drive to the basket? You stopped....and your gonna have to start again game 6

From David Hyde's article in the sun sentinel:

"I don't know how much of that was skill or determination," Ben Wallace said after this 91-78 Detroit win. "But we all get lucky sometimes."

NAW!!!!! You think Ben?

I don't know..I think it is perfectly normal to be up only 3 with the Heat coming on..SHAQ gets a blocked shot to start a break and it goes right to Tay for a 3......

Truthfully it doesnt matter how we lost....because we lost, we gotta close this out game 6 or else were in a little bit of trouble

You gotta give credit to Wallace. It wasn't luck when he blocked Shaq to the floor. That was pretty awsome.

Rip Hamilton and Ben Wallace are the only two players on that team I can stand

They were letting the players play last night... I am fine with that... however, we need our freethrows...

Rip??

Coming into the series he was in my top 15 favorites, but that has changed a bit.

This guy sends out cheap shots to Dwyane Wade on EVERY possession - whether it's an albow in the face, elbow in the chest, pushing him into the stands, etc. He hasn't been called against any of this YET in this series, and he should be. Then, he gets T'ed up and continues to curse the refs, yet no Double-T. Guess what? If that's Udonis Haslem arguing the call even AFTER receiving a tech, he's out of there with a Double-T.

I'm one of those guys who will always tell you, "I hope so & so is healthy for Detroit, because I want to beat the at full strength." Yet if you ask me my opinion on Rip Hamilton, I'll tell you that he should be suspended for Game 6, and should've been suspended for Game 5. There's nothing wrong with harrassing someone defensively, but hey man, you don't throw out cheap shots. Only ******* do that.

Nonetheless, I'm a fan of Chauncey & Rasheed.

I thought they were letting Detroit play last night, but not Miami.

A couple of those early Shaq calls could've and should've been let go.

Dwyane Wade goes to the basket all night, and attempts 3 free throws? That's almost impossible - the guy attempts an average 10-11 a game. Still, I don't blame the refs. I blame Miami. Detroit did get lucky though, and you've gotta admit it. Most of the second half was Detroit up by 2-4 points, and Dwyane Wade, Gary Payton, and Udonis Haslem (all shooting over 80% this playoffs) combined for 1/8 FT shooting. That's just unlucky and has a .01% chance of ever happening twice. But of course, similar to the New England Patriots, if it ever has a slim chance of happening and actually does...it's gonna come when facing Detroit.
