We really do miss Zo. His presence is missed big time. When is he coming back?

They have only played one playoff series and Detroit won in 7 games with Wade hurt and Shaq hobbled...that is hardly..."owning"

Now...they do it again...and you are 2/3 of the way of saying "owning"...

Nah its not a two player team they are just having a bad night

When J-will and Posey are healthy its a really good TEAM
i just think the heat are a good team not a great one even healthy(which we never are) i don't see us beating the pistons in the playoffs

Man do people ever get tired of sounding like complete morons? Detroit and Miami have been very evenly matched since the respective teams came together, and the record 9-6 in favor of the Pistons has determined more b/c of injury woes in Miami than anything else. Shaq and Wade came to play and it was a great game.....Sheed and Billups just were clutch as usual. Anytime Walker is the starting SF on this team a win should come as a suprise; hes just pathetic. But the Andersons werent much better until that run in the 4th.

At least the game left you wanting more, and I doubt either team dissapoints in the playoffs. Hopefully both teams come into their series healthy.....it should be a joy to watch.

not really if they owned us they beat us by like 20 pts every game

they play pretty close game everytime and thou i think the piston are better and will prolly beat us in the playoffs i wouldn't say they 'own" us

It is very important tonight for the heat to attack the rim.

Wade will handle the ball alot...so expect the Pistons to try to trap at half court and force him to give it up...that is when Wade will need to attack with his passes and get the ball to the open man...
The open man must make a direct line to the basket...and get them to play Wade honest.

if they play wade one on one without blitzing the screens..Wade will go nuts on them...

We hit 3's...nobody in this league would beat us...they key is to get OPEN 3's to take...not rushed ones.

I told you they would do that....of course we didn't do what we needed to do to counter.

We need the suit squad back ASAP.

Btw...anybody tired with seeing this in the boxscore?

Simien-DNP

Tonight they actually went to 6-6 Shandon Anderson to guard Sheed for a little while.....Simien looked great in his jump suit on the bench.

They should have started Derek Anderson....and played Toine off the bench...Toine has not played well as a starter lately...

J-Will complained again after the game that he wanted to play.....

Another day in Heat Ville....:sidelol:

There is no more need to complain about the officials...they are not going to change...We just got to sit there and take it...and hope to overcome it...no need to complain...but it sure is fun!

Can Payton play any worse lately?

Rant over...

Posey did look great with that Black on red suit though...real cool....

i think well be ok once the playoffs roll around

we had no starting PG and SF

the pistons were more athletic than us tonight but i like our chances in a 7 game series against them

i just wish we had a legit 3point shooter on this team we need one badly

Whether anyone wants to admit it, J-Will makes this offense flow

Come playoff time the Pistons will not 'own' Miami

You are so right.

J-Will breaks the press with pure speed and ball handling skills.

Payton backs his man down and kills almost 16 second on the shot clock just trying to get the ball to the wing.

On the post game..they said Posey might be back for the next game.

But absolutely...with no J-Will we have no running game...we just plot along...

Another thing was Doleacs pathetic defense tonight....the Pistons went to the basket at will when Shaq wasn't there...

I'd say winning 9 out the last 11 regular season games and winning a game 7 on your opponents court is owning someone!

It's becoming a SERIOUS Problem... Teams are just collapsing in the paint.. forcing Payton and Toine to hit a 3 and they just can't do it right now... Whens the last time GP made a 3?

Last 11 regular season games?

Since when have they played 11 regular season games in the last two years?

The Pistons have won 9 games total against the Heat in the last two years.

3 of those wins came in games that Wade didn't play. 1 came in a game that Shaq didn't play.

The Pistons missed one starter in 1 game that they WON.

So in essence...in games when both teams were at full strength the series is 5-5..

Sorry...but a 5-5 record is not "owning"...winning a 7 game series in 7 when the other team has their two best players injured...is not "owning".

Maybe you should know what you are talking about before you post.

It's frustrating to lose to Detroit. Especially at home.

But being without three of our top six players, including the league's best shot blocker, does take the sting off a bit.

Doleac struggles defensively. He's just not fleet of foot. I'd like to see Simien as well. But it was nice to see him carry the Heat for a few minutes there in the 4th with his clutch shooting. He actually tied Walker for 3rd leading scorer last night. And that's pathetic considering Walker played nearly twice as many minutes and took four times as many shots as Doleac. 6 points. That's what Doleac and Walker scored. Pathetic.

And Gary Payton picking up TWO 8-second backcourt violations. WTF was that?? Inexcusible. Come back J-Will and make this Farrari go!!

Typical night for Wade. 29 points, 9 rebs, 6 assists. Shot 50%.
