Who are you to tell me how to respond to anyone?

That is the answer you get when you come in here and the first question you ask includes an insult to a heat player.

This is the Miami Heat thread if you haven't noticed. Pardon me if I respond to what looks like trolling.

I wonder what response I get if I went into the Nets thread and asked a question like this:

How is the wife beater doing for you guys at point guard?
lol

Did you type all that up before or after your angry PM you sent to me about it? Wow, three personal attacks in one PM... Cool...

Yes, there is a thing called series money line... Pacers i got for something like -180 in 2004, the Pistons last year for very close to even to win the series. I didn't bet on the Wizards or Nets series. Mmm-kay?

Anything else I can help you try to understand? Not a problem, just ask.

Another lie.

That wasn't the price in the Pacers series....ANYWHERE.

By how you wrote what you wrote proves that you are just making stuff up as you go along.

Just admit that you don't knowanything about basketball and just made up that you bet on basketball to make you sound "heftier".

BTW...you should see what a friend of mine that actually does bet basketball and actually did bet the pacers in that series is saying about you.

At least you could have looked up what the line was before you said that you bet it...just a tip.

Yeah, he's great off a loss against .500 teams with no center......

I can't believe that I didn't see that one...

How are the Pistons? are they a crappy team also? How is their center? Is he an all-star? A multi "defensive player of the year"?

okay.

Now...

What are Shaq's career numbers versus the Pistons and more importantly...what are Shaq's numbers versus the Pistons as a player for the heat.

Press....if you are gonna fake it...at least inform yourself...just a little.

Field Goal percentage, Field Goal percentage, one more time...all together now...FG%.

Shaq is shooting 59.4% right now....(it will go up a little with his latest 13-16 performance)

In his best season...it was 60.1%...that was last year.

In His best seasons...his FG% has ranged from a high of 59.9% to a low of 55.7%.

In his best season ...he shot 57.4%.

He is just taking fewer shots.

If you go by production per minute....guess what? He is having career high's in every category except rebounds per game.

The fact remains...he is still the best center in the league by far.

here is another one for you Shaq haters that have popped up lately.

In games that SHAQ has played a minimum of 35 minutes:

He has averaged 28.2 ppg and 11.3 rpg.

Now...when you realize that those were Shaq's averages or better than Shaq's averages when he actually averaged 37 to 40+ minutes a game...you then see the folly of saying that his production is down.

No. His minutes are down.

Very good points.

I would like to see how he compare to west conf opponents. In the east I think we can agree is a weak conference aside from pistons and heats.

But then, i didn't insult him... I only got him in a lather by merely being realistic about his favorite basketball team... See a difference? I do.... But good luck trying to get him to leave... He thrives on personal stuff...

What, in your opinion, have I shown I don't know about the Heat besides getting a bust's first name wrong? Is that the best evidence you've got?

You know what you are doing and what responce you will get from what you define as your honesty. Its just gratuitous in nature and....well I'll stick with pathetic.

You havnt watched this Heat team have little to no knowledge of their makeup....it doesnt take much to discern that. How many games have you watched this season? 2? Uninformed opinions are worse than none at all...if you wish to rail about how every player on the Heat sucks go start a thread in the smack forum and leave this one for people who wish to discuss a basketball team.

Its difficult to measure Shaq by stats....he takes entire games off at times. Against the Pistons this year his stat line is 28 ppg 7.75 rpg 58.3 fg% 7.5 fta. In order to beat them or any western conference team if they make it to the finals he and Wade have to put up 30 ppg.

I don't believe I said anywhere that everyone on their team sucks... Why resort to the tactics of Section by misrepresenting what i said?

The point is, right now they have serious problems, and are not "pretty even" with the Pistons, as Swearengen insists...

As for the Pacers-Heat series bet, he can flaps his arms as much as he wants... But I did indeed get odds on that series, regardless of what his pal says...

If you got "odds" like you said...they sure as hell weren't those...(-180)

Not possible....and anybody that has ever bet on a basketball game would know that you wouldn't get -180 on a #1 seed playing a #4 seed.

You exposed your own lie...

You really should have researched betting lines and see how ridiculous your claim is.

My god are you ever grasping at straws... I said "something like" because I don't remember the exact figure... It was two years ago, and i didn't save the betting receipt... Largely because there was none.... It was with a private book in Palm Beach...

Regardless, the Pacers won the series as I predicted, and won a small amount of money on.... Just like the Pistons last season...

Now, could you stop with the insane PMs that I've not asked for? You're not scaring me in the least, tough guy...

WOW...you predicted that a team that was the #1 seed would beat a #4 seed....brilliant.

Saying "something like" -180 is still way off.

How bout...nowhere around -180 was the actual price on that series.

Press...just admit that you didn't bet that series...and that you made up all those things to make you look better?

Like I said...everybody that has ever bet a sporting event in their life is privately chuckling at your post of "I got -180 on the pacers against the heat in that series".

I won't tell you why though...I will let you to continue to argue it...(it is funnier that way).

Press, even when you really don't know anything about the subject you are debating you still continue to argue...and that is just sad.

Go read up on betting lines and then get a new story. Then edit your posts. Then make up more stuff.

"This stage in his career"?

Which stage is that?...you mean the current one where he is a Defensive Player of the Year candidate? That one?

Press. Seriously...watch some games......

All I remember is that I won back a significantly smaller amount of money than I risked....

I made the wager... I won the wager... I will win again this year when I'm sure the Heat will fail (probably not the second round, but surely the third).... You saying it isn't so doesn't make it not so...

Keep flailing your arms if you like.... Unless the Pistons suffer a key injury, they will not lose to the Heat this year either.

Yet another insult.

Whatever...we'll just make believe that you actually bet that series...

Losing as a #2 seed to a #1 seed is not failure...so if they lost to Detroit..it wouldn't be a :failure" as you suggest.

I never said the Heat would beat Detroit this year. I said that it would be a great series. In fact...I have picked Detroit to win.
