Look at the video, not the picture. Wades motion remained fluid, part of this was due to his own athleticism. Avoiding true contact. There are those who thought it should have been called, and those that don't. We will have to agree to disagree.

TIVO is GREAT. Dirk and Harris (Harris fouled Wade twice) fouled Wade and again IMO if that did not take place Wade was dunking the ball for the win.

oh snap. I didn't know that. Can you say :owned:

But you must establish yourself in the backcourt first, which has been stated in this thread about 300 times by the same person (not me).

I can understand your point.

But ..and this is a BIG but...Do you not remember playoff basketball in the 90's?

A hint....it's the way the heat has been playing defense WITHOUT all the foul calls on them.

It was SHAQ in the New Jersey series without all the foul calls.

I think you are going WAY back to find the purest form of the game....like the 1980's...when everybody just played ping pong back and forth....and lit up the score board like a pin ball machine...when Magic Johnson would score a go ahead basket with 30 seconds to go with an uncontested layup.

This may be blasphemy...but that type of basketball SUCKED.

You're nuts. I barely remember the Showtime era, as I was a kid, but I would take that over today's basketball any day of the week. Basketball's been in a decline for years, and unlike others, I deny that it ever came out of it.

This has officially become the worst thread on Finheaven as of today.

What at one point was decent basketball commentary is now sh*t-flinging and ***** waving.

Congratulations, all!

(I'm sure within 5 minutes some poindexter will pull out the moronic "IF IT'S SUCH A KWAPPY THWEAD WHY R U WEADING IT FOR?" cliche...)

If the thread sucks so much... why are you reading it? And wasting your time posting in it??

Anyway... I'm with Rob... lets move on to Game 6...

Oh... and Wade is the ****ing man! :D

i wish they made players actually dribble the basketball. way too much palming and turning it over to suit my taste.

i wish i knew what was a moving screen and what wasn't a moving screen.

i wish they would move the three-point line back to the original distance. right now, it's too tempting to chuck it up, and you get teams that go on ridiculous runs or ridiculous droughts because they just chuck up 3's all the time.

BASKETBALL IS VERY HEALTHY IN MY OPINION RIGHT NOW

Okay, now Greg Anthony and Tim Legler are saying that it was an obvious backcourt violation...Who's gonna dispute that? Or, am I gonna get the "You can't call that in the Finals" BS?

And Haslem got called for a buch of fouls that shouldnt have been, Shaq got a BS continuation call, if your going to fight that one play were going to have to fight at least a dozen others and it wont matter anyway
