Toine with 25 points and 16 boards.....Shaq played a relaxed game...Wade turned it on late for 23 points....Kapono looked good hitting open shots and hustling....J-Will managed the game well...Payton played great D......

19 point win to start the season......

BIG ONE next....The Pacers.

This was my post after the first game of the season....

It is very interesting to note that a "3rd" player showed up to give us our first win this season.

That was the theme...

Riley brought in these guys for exactly this.

Don't think that we win if Toine doesn't go crazy in the 3rd quarter....

Guys..SHAQ dominated the boards but didn't go crazy...and WE STILL WON! That is the definition of a team!

Oh come on thats not true at all, he is just a hard nosed player

Haha dont make me laugh, maybe in football where his tackles are actually legal. Guess it will make it so much better when the bulls beat the heat next year.

And GP is the man, I wish they would have had him and zo speak at the end about finally getting a title. Whats funny is in the first when the heat were down like 28 to 12 or somthing like that I told my dad that the mavs cant hold a lead to save their life and the heat will get the lead back in no time.

Any fans of western conference teams, hows that superior dominance now. The heat just beat your best in embarassing fashion. Where are all the idiots calling for a sweep no matter who the east or west had. Ha!!!

Heat fans face it, Shaq is on a steady decline. It's only going to get worse from here.!

When the Heat lose to the Pistons their season will end the same way the Knicks did....without a ring. At least the Knicks will be able to say they won their last game of the year however! :sidelol:

my two favorite post

WOW!!!!!

Riley: " I would trade my 6 other rings for just this one." "I love this team."
:shakeno: Now that comment hurts

there are too many posts to go through, so i hope i'm not reposting something here, but this is only the fourth time in history that the ncaa and nba champs are from the same state.

go heat, congratulations on a great victory, and d-wade is the man!!!

congrats, Heat, you deserve this....but stop saying world champions, last I checked there are only two countries in the league!

Congrats heat Fans! I guess i was wrong about yuor offseason moves and Riley. Enjoy the moment, don't start worrying about a repeat yet just enjoy the parade and whatever else will be going on.

Brooding Mavs Fans Believe Referees to Blame for Loss

"We got the coach. We got the team. We wanted it all this year, though," said Korby Keene. "The Heat aren't that good. The refs gave them the game." :sidelol:

"If we believe that the last great conspiracy theory in Dallas was JFK's death, the second greatest conspiracy theory was that David Stern wanted the Miami Heat to win the championship," said fan George Graffy, 41. :spit: :boohoo:
