is Jamar Taylor Playing? I havent heard anything from him and if he is playing then thats definitely a good thing.

I find it interesting that both Coyle and Lazor are coaching from the sidelines. I hope this is not just for today, but more of a permanent change. Has anyone heard if this is how we are or are not going to do things this year?

P.S. Sorry if this was brought up already.

Coaches talk before games. And tell each other who or what they want to test.

My feeling is philbin asked atl to attack Davis. He needs reps the most.

I don't know, but I hope this is how they're going to do it.

One thing I liked about Lazor when they announced the hire was that he had talked previously at length about how he liked to go and coach up his quarterbacks every time they came off the field, just keep working on them, all the time. So I'm hoping that he's going to keep doing that rather than sitting up in the box.

Yea that's why they let soali go I think they knew we could get Francis to be that big body in the middle

Whew at least I can rest easy now knowing they had a plan.

My 1st have Flashers

1. Tanny
2. Miller
3. Matthews
4. Landry
5. Will Davis
6. McCain
7. Finnigan

Miller didn't really do that much. He had a couple runs up the middle where there wasn't much room (and he failed to get that extra push out of the arms of defenders) and while he caught a pass or two, he also pretty clearly dropped one that was ruled complete and not challenged because it was for 2 yards. I'm actually very concerned that, although our passing game could be more dynamic and consistent, the running game may not be that drastically different than what the RB's had a hard time doing last year namely trying to run from the shotgun when our line doesn't create space.

The Moreno signing does make more sense to me now. I think Miller's vision is better when taking a handoff from a pro set or I, while Moreno is experienced in the shotgun run.

Love that Lazor is on the field and not in the clouds.

I was wondering about that. I think Taylor needs the reps just as much, though he did get on the field during the regular season a bit and performed horribly, neither player had adequate preseason time last year for a young player due to injuries.

Believe it or not, Miami didn't run that much from the shotgun. We mostly passed out of it. The Chip Kelly offense runs out of the shotgun a LOT. I think we're going to see some of that. I am happy.

The one big thing I hoped to learn from tonight's game was whether or not our offense was going to look like Chip Kelly or Mike Sherman. It doesn't look like Mike Sherman.

I will add that miller does not impress me I was hoping he would and as a receiver omg he was bad I'm not sure how he didn't catch that flat where he juggled the ball and fell out of bounds. Knowshon get healthy your a way better receiver

I want someone to answer this. It didn't quote, but if jamar taylor has been playing

I think you can be effective either way, the key is good strategy, design, and playcalling. Lazor can do that well from either, and there are advantages to a booth setup and to being on the sideline.

Theres anthony johnson alot of you liked him. Big tfl
