The Official 2006 New York Yankees Thread!

In fact just go to the Red Sox thread and read some of our discussions on whether Papelbon should be in the rotation next year or the closer's role. The debate has been going on since April.

I don't visit that thread. Sorry.

Oh of course, I know, that's why I was giving you some information on the subject to just enlighten you.

That's a lie. First you bring the topic up and then you say you don't care. Funny stuff, delusional, but funny.

I didn't bring up a debate. I brought up a point.

I don't care enough about it to make it a debate. :shakeno: :shakeno: :shakeno:

I got warned for that post? :sidelol:

Cmon now, that's absolutely ridiculous. It's even more ridiculous you cite a reason for being warned as baiting, considering that the person to whom the post was directed is notorious for baiting other members of this board.

I'm not trying to get into an arguement with one of the moderators, because I wouldn't want to jepordize my ability to post on this GREAT website, but I would appreciate it if the moderator who gave me the warning could PM me with more of an explaination for their actions.

Thanks.

Do you have that link that says "because Papelbon blew 3 saves this past week there's talk about moving him out of the closers role and into the rotation next year"? Just curious because I haven't found anything on it.

Yanks one game up on the sox. It will be interesting to see who wins the upcoming sox and yankees series

:boohoo: Yeah anyways, time for u to go back to whining about your warning! :boohoo:

Why am I not surprised that you were unable to correctly comprehend a well written post?

I'm not getting into a pissing contest with you.. I'm over my post quota in the Yankee thread anyway.. any more posts in here and I'm going start developing some devil qualities.

Interesting article about Arod in the Post today:

http://www.nypost.com/sports/yankees/a_reeling_rodriguez_tosses_injury_card_in_yankees_joel_sherman.htm

Blames injuries for his bad season both on the field and hitting.

However if its just an excuse or for real, he claims that he's healthy now and his "spring training" is over and he's season starts now.

Should be interesting to see how he does from here on. If he continues to do poorly that I'm sure people won't give him any breaks and probably kill him more for making up excuses. It hurts his imagine a bit when he has other players on the team who are hurt or have been hurt (Damon, Jeter, Cano, Posada) and have done very well this year and their injuries have been documented and known.

In my opinion it seems like an excuse so people will lay off of him.
