I've been away for a while on vacation, but thanks for welcoming me back with some comedy relief.
Wang won't sniff the Cy Young and that's a fact. He's not on the level of Liriano, Santana, Papelbon, Halladay and even Verlander with his recent injury.
MikeO said::sidelol: :sidelol::sidelol: I think we can cross Papelbon off the list after yesterday.

Yeah 4 runs allowed all year, cross him right off that list!
Do you realize how ridiculous you sound?
MikeO said:Not as crazy as you thinking a closer who won't even reach 50 saves will win the CY YOUNG :sidelol: :sidelol: :sidelol: :shakeno: :shakeno: :sidelol:
FaninPatsyLand said:Who said that? Surely not me. He's miles ahead of Wang on that Cy Young list, though.
Liriano HAS to be in the lead right now (but who knows with his recent arm problems). He had a bad start against Detroit last night too, mind as well cross him off the list completely.
What a joke!
AggieFin21 said:Reports on ESPN have Liriano headed to the DL. Hard to with a Cy Young from there....
p.s.- The Yanks Wang is awesome.....

It's obviously going to come down to these last important starts (or save opportunity's) of the year but I think it's laughable for anyone to say that Papelbon or Wang have no chance to win the award when both are right in the thick of the running IMO!
Ray Finkle said:I find it interesting that you were campaigning for Rivera to win the Cy Young award last year when he only saved 43 games. Talk about contradictions.
