Interesting article about Arod in the Post today:

http://www.nypost.com/sports/yankees/a_reeling_rodriguez_tosses_injury_card_in_yankees_joel_sherman.htm

Blames injuries for his bad season both on the field and hitting.

However if its just an excuse or for real, he claims that he's healthy now and his "spring training" is over and he's season starts now.

Should be interesting to see how he does from here on. If he continues to do poorly that I'm sure people won't give him any breaks and probably kill him more for making up excuses. It hurts his imagine a bit when he has other players on the team who are hurt or have been hurt (Damon, Jeter, Cano, Posada) and have done very well this year and their injuries have been documented and known.

In my opinion it seems like an excuse so people will lay off of him.

I see he's very aware of his surroundings. He's taking notes from Yankee fans.. once something goes wrong, here comes the injury excuse.

Now I'm at my post quota.

Randy with back to back good starts vs Chicago and LAA. Very impressive

I'll take a split with the Angels any day of the week with the way they've owned us. Good outing by Randy today and it looks like Posada's bat finally woke up after a good week, week and a half struggle. The Yankees see Eric Bedard for the first time tomorrow night. They have to get Moose win # 14!

A yankee win and a red sox loss................all is right with the world again for the second day in a row!

Now all we need is a full sweep this weekend! :goof:

ya... lotsa love to the Corporation in here lately.... but... what's up? not a single Corporation fan who's willing talk about the A-Rod/Jeter Espy nominee on that pop out yesterday? Funniest thing i've seen in sports all year... On so many levels...

Man, Abreu is making Cashman look like a genius. He has been a GREAT pickup, 4 for 4 against the Sox today.

All my former Phillies do great after leaving Philthadelphia. :shakeno:

Jeter's 3 RBI double in the 7th inning=MVP!

100 RBI's
100 RUNS
30+ SB
Gold Glove at SS
and an average around .350 along with the Yanks winning the AL East should all but lock that up.

Nice DOUBLE HEADER sweep.............now lets keep it up and put these SOB's out of their misery
