I'm not sure if anyone ever posted this quote, but goddamn did I find it freaking hillarious!

Hunter's 2006 Salary per ESPN.com: $10,750,000

Freakin hillarious.

my god that might be the worst quote a player has ever given!!!

speaking of idiots. This is the greatest story ever.

Carl Pavano is taking his agent to court/arbitration. When he was a free agent a couple years ago his agent promised him a $40 mill contract. He signed with the Yanks for $39.9 mill. Pavano isn't happy.

Now obviously there is more to this story and he and the agent have had some sort of falling out in general. But to take him to court over this is nuts beyond belief.

pavano is someone i met when i worked for the marlins and he's a nice guy but this is just ridiculous.......and he's done nothing with the yanks....guy had one good yr thats it

How the hell is one inning a bigger choke than 4 games?
its not

the biggest choke job in sports history was the yanks in 04 anybody who denies that is just lying to themselves

well 10 mill is minimum wage for the yankees

I didn't get to see tonight's game because unfortunately at my internship at SNY they had me logging the Cardinals-Nationals game (which seemed like it would start off with bang after Pujols homered in the first but wound up being a snooze fest) but from all indications I can see that the bats didn't show up. Any Yankee fan on here want to tell me how Moose looked? I got MLB.tv and can go back and watch it but honestly, I just don't feel like doing it so I hope someone on here can give me an assesment on how he looked!

Yup, you can say whatever you want about the Yankees but they are a classful and tasteful franchise, which is part of the reason why they're so successful. They always donate money to the Jimmy Fund when the Red Sox have fund raises and now this. You have to tip your cap to them, you don't hear about other teams doing it.
