The Seattle Way!

Winning your division at 7-9 is embarrassing.

Weren't you one of the ones saying it doesn't matter how the Dolphins get in the post season as long as they are in? So by your theory 7-9 winning your division and then winning a playoff game is worse then 8-8?

That's a great article. Thanks for posting. I was looking for your original thread, but I couldn't find it.

During a press conference, Wilson mentioned that they want to win multiple SB's and that you have to win the first to accomplish that. I think that's a brilliant tactic by Carroll - a way of minimizing the importance of this particular game. He's right that Seattle is built to win multiple titles, but this mindset relieves a lot of the immediate pressure of this SB.

less embarrassing than scoring 7 pts total in last 2 games needing 1 win against 2 non playoff bound teams.

So DEN had no leadership? You can point to MIA all you want, but 'leadership' is not unique to SEA. Maybe its a different spin, but it still permeates in other locker rooms.

What I seen yesterday, was a DEF that was younger and faster than their opponents. Especially on the WR position and their back end on the defense didn't allow separation all day. That is great individual play.

Yes, talent is key obviously. But I like the leadership style of Pete Carroll. It is the style (there are many styles) I believe in. I like the work ethic Payton brought to Denver but it is not the same style of leadership there.
