actually it looks like it's a 2007 2nd round pick, which changes everything! still, it'd be nice to get extra picks, or maybe even a 2nd rounder for next year.

Is this really true? I thought it was this years number two? I mean, we got Daunte for next years #2? that just cannot be. No way! :sidelol:

no, it looks like it's indeed a 2006 2nd round pick. so now i DEFINTELY want to trade down.

I think Saban will have guys ranked and be looking for his guys to be there at 16 or fall. I think Saban stays at 16 and picks if:

Huff
Vince young
or Greenway is there or otherwise we will trade down. There may be some others he may want at that pick like other LB's or CB's but we seem to be filling those spots in FA.

why would we draft young. isnt cleo lemon supposed to be that project QB thats being groomed until daunte retires? i woulda liked to get young before the daunte trade, but that wouldnt be such a great pick. Huff is a different story, would love to get him, but thats HIGHLY unlikely.
