You'll never get through to the Angry Deniers....
I have a Chad Henne jersey on sale for you.

I'll agree IF you can show me two in a row.
How quickly everyone forgets the great must win performances in the snow in Pittsburgh and at home vs the Patriots when the defense did everything possible to try and lose the game on the last drive. If "he"/THE TEAM doesn't win the Pitt/Pats games, the Bills/Jets games don't even matter...

you are comparing losing a divisional playoff game on the road to putting up 7 pts in 2 games against 2 teams Miami was heavily favored against w/ their first playoff app since 2008 on the line? all QBs have bad games, some great ones have many bad games in the biggest games but how many led their O's to 7 pts in the final 2 games needing one win to get into postseason for the first time in 5 years and only the 2nd time in 12 years?
They were clunkers by Peyton Manning standards but they were still average QB performances. If you want another example of a QB going to **** besides Flacco this season look no further than Andy Dalton who has looked like total garbage week 17 and 18 every season. If we want to have a chance at a SB with Tannehill we need to win a lot of games early in the schedule and get out to huge leads early in games, a lot like what the Bengals have been doing with Dalton, then once we get in the playoffs hope he gets hot.
My telling this forum that something is not subject to debate is like starting a thread entitled "Don't Read This which would bring 1,000 views. :)
This was my initial question on the last two games before it got somewhat sidetracked.
"Can anyone here tell me that any franchise QB or potential franchise QB would have folded in those last two games. as RT did. It was very distressing but, we can come back from it."
Flacco's last two games was posted, and a fair point.
blah, blah, blah.... how many were in EXACTLY the same situation as Tannehill and the Dolphins? What a stupid question. Why not add - "how many did it after winning two games in which they were underdogs"?
All QBs and teams have bad games. Period. To pretend otherwise is retarded.

In the end, it doesn't matter when the losses happened. Would it have been less distressing if they lost to the Bills and Jets in weeks 14 and 15 and beat the Steelers and Patriots in weeks 16 and 17? How would that be any better?
I will never agree with the notion that some regular season games are more important than others (except for the differences between divisional/conference/non-conference games and tie breakers). There are only 16 games. They all count the same. It does not matter when the losses happen. This is not the BCS.

games where you need to win and get in are more important than others.
Completely disagree. When any team gets to the last two games fighting to advance into the playoffs, those games are like playoff games. The pressure is MUCH higher, and the emotion should be. You work your ass off for that opportunity, and falling flat does not cut it.
No they are not. How much extra credit did the Steelers get for losing in week 14 AT HOME, then winning the last 3? ZERO. They finished at 8-8 and out of the playoffs.
Flacco: 8-8
Roethlisberger: 8-8
Tannehill: 8-8
All equally out of the playoffs.

BS. You don't think the pressure was on for all of the teams fighting for the playoffs during the last month of the season? Pitt won their last three. That helped them how?

Pitt never put themselves in a position to win and get in, Miami did.
If they make the right call in SD then Pitt makes the playoffs.
Flacco: 6 years in league, 5 postseasons, 1 SB title, 3 title game apps, 9 playoff wins
Ben: 10 years in league, 6 postseasons, 2 SB titles, 3 SB apps, 4 title game apps, 10 playoff wins
Ryan: 2 years in league, 0 postseasons, 0 SB titles, 0 SB apps, 0 title games apps, 0 playoff wins
show me where Flacco and ben lost to 2 dead teams to end the season needing 1 win while leading O to 7 pts combined in 2 games?
