This loss is on no one but Joe Philbin

ill post this here as well

I just watched the post game press conference on nfl.com, Phibin smiling, talks about how team doesn't make enough plays, puts the blame on the players. what a douche bag, why not t on your complete inability to coach at this level. Running game is a joke rubs outta SG all game, never get **** all out of it but just run out of it week after week. He has no killer instinct opts to kick a 54 yd fg with a average at best kicker with no confidence. 3rd and 4 grab a pair and go for it just don't run it out of the SG...lol. Its Tony Sparano all over. Calling timeouts on Carolinas final drive like a fool, He has no intensity I just want him gone. Just come out flat every halftime. Some coaches were never meant to be coaches just OC's and don't even get me started on his sidekick Sherman. Just so disappointed....................sigh

also it was not a correct call to call the timeouts they had one left we , them all the time they needed to get the right calls played they would have likely settled for a fg andovertime and wouldn't have forced it but since we gave them 6 timeouts they ran with it,,,,,,,,,,,,just as clueless as it gets... F U Philbin

Worst coaching I've seen in a while. Well besides last week and the week before. This guy just can't coach.

Its not any of the players fault when you have a coach telling a Kicker who can't hit inside 40 yards to kick a 53 yarder in a field position game.

Then carolina 4th and 10 going for it and you don't call a time out to re group when your players are looking around clueless.

Then you don't tell your defense to let carolina score with a minute plus left while you still had 2 time outs. Instead you are cluless when to take them and let even more time drip off the clock wondering if you should use them or not.

JOE PHILBIN YOU ARE GONE. Maybe Martin was a blessing because with SHERMAN and Philbin nothing will ever come of it.

You had to call a timeout nobody had a clue where to lineup there

I love Philbin and this system. We do not have the horses to run it, starting with the GM and then the offensive players. The bad news is we are stuck with many of those.

I watched the game very carefully today and IMO from what i got from it , SHERMAN WAS THE MAN CALLING THE WRONG PLAYS ,Philbin had nothing to do with the play calling ,SHERMAN IS OUR OC not Philbin but there were some bad offensive calls in the 2nd half that Sherman should have called diffrent , AS For Tannehill , he played a very good game ,For what plays that he got from Sherman i think the defence (coyle ) did a decent job with the defence , and for what we had at the offensive line , with over half our line being replaced we did a hell of a job against Carolinas defence , Remember this Offensive line hasnt played together very long at all and havent had time to gel , but they held there own decent job.....

What really sticks out against this coaching staff is they can't seem to make second half adjustments. Sherman's play calling is comical. Why he continues to have short routes called in third and long situations constantly is a big head scratcher. The fact his son-in law is a QB coach has done nothing but stunt Tanny's growth, as others have pointed out. Finally, Coyle sometimes reminds me of Tom Olivindati's "bend but don't break" defensive philosophy' especially in the fourth quarter of games.

100% agreed

Joe "The father of a sexual Predator"Philbin will be gone at season's end. I don't think he will be a problem anymore. We have a bigger problem and that's Stephen"I am never around' Ross. He is an absentee owner who does not live in South Florida. He seems to only show up on Game-Day. Guys like this usually care a lot more about profit than winning championships. We have to hope he sells the team or that we just get lucky and find the right GM and the right Head Coach.

I think philbin coached a fine game. Problem was offensive play calling and the inability of Sherman to call a pass play that has more air than 5 yards. Every pass play except for the occasional bomb to wallace is a 5 yard out, 5 yard slant, 5 yard stick. The defense just sits on our routes every game. THROW THE DAMN BALL INTERMEDIATE ROUTES

5 yards??? you are being modest more like 2-4 yards to Clay. Too conservative and what is up with doing draws and running in Shotgun. Use TE sets more often.

I was a Philbin supporter until this afternoon, when I watched him call 2 timeout when the Panthers were CLEARLY playing for a fieldgoal to send it into OT. Philbin allowed them extra time to go for the win, which they did. Why he called 2 timeouts, is just mind boggling. Let them try and tie the game, DO NOT assist them in getting the win.

Secondly, he has to be one of the worst coaches at making any halftime adjustments. Week after week we get outcoached and out schemed in the 2nd half. I dont knhow many double digit halftime leads we have blown already this season. Other coaches adjust, we come out of halftime flat week after week.

Lastly, I knew we we were gonna be in for trouble in the 2nd half we basically layed down on Carolina's last drive before halftime where we just handed them 3 points on a silver platter.

Better late than never.

One Philbin basher in this thread says he should have let them score to conserve time and timeouts. Another Philbin basher in this thread says he sucks for for helping them score by using timeouts. Still other Philbin bashers say he sucks because they don't like the look on his face during the game. I'm starting to think Philbin bashers aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer....

31 out of 32 coaches in this league don't call timeouts for the opponent to have more time to score. Even a child can understand how stupid it is to continually stop the clock for the opponent when they are extremely limited in what they can run due to the time on the clock, which would have been expired by the time they scored their TD had we not stopped the clock multiple times for them.
