This Organization Is A Joke

What makes McCoy qualified to be a head coach in this league? His offenses pretty much stunk. There were more qualified candidates out there like Zimmer and other guys they didn't even interview. Its like when they didn't get Fisher, they went to the bottom of the barrel for McCoy. Of course Ireland wants this loser because McCoy will be his puppet. Ireland didn't want a qualified candidate because he was afraid he wouldn't be able to control that person the same way. Ross is a joke too. This team will continue to flounder until Ross sells the team. It all starts at the top and when it comes to ownership, the Dolphins are at the bottom.

i agree, ireland wanted someone he can control, its the same parcells- sparano type deal and ross fell for it. Im done with this team until a new owner comes in.

Good riddance. We dont want you as a fan anyway. Peace out!

I can see it now... Pretty soon it's going to be:

Q: Why did the Chicken cross the road???

A: The Miami Dolphins.

Bwaaaa haaaa haaaa haaaaa!!!!! :(

Here is what I like:

He ran a spread offense with an average QB in Orton who blew it up for weeks until he realized he was Kyle Orton and started sucking. Still made Orton look like an appealing FA QB this offseason, but I guess everyone has forgotten that. It was a pass first offense.

He turned Tebow into a hero by running a read option lead by Willis McGahee of all guys. McGahee (really a #2 back) looked like a god and was a top rusher once this happened.

He was smart enough to assess that Tebow was not going to work in a traditional NFL offense midseason and changed the whole playbook for him.

Seems like an HC that would not be hard headed and would pursue a QB with star potential regardless of his skill set.

What makes you think that calling and running a "college / Pop Warner offense" against an NFL defense is easy? I dont know how or why some people just dont understand that McCoy has some real good qualities about him. But lets remember he is applying for the HC position not the OC. So he wont be calling plays, at least I dont think he will. Lets see the OC that he hires 1st before we make assumtoions.

I'm not 100% sold on him but I can apprciate his talent..... You should do the same.

What makes you qualified to question it? Being a fan?

You're right. We should blindly follow whatever course they take and never dare question a move the front office ever does. We should lap up whatever slop they peddle us and laud every move like it was done by geniuses. We should become sheep without a single independent thought.

Oh cool. I see a number of fans have already taken my advice.

We were about to give up a 2nd rounder for Kyle orton...if he is such a bad coach.I doubt if we would be considering Kyle if he was playing like he did when he was on the bears...go figure great NFL gms

That's hardly what I said. I do not blindly follow anything or anyone. I have questioned things this team has done for over 25 years. However, you do realize there is a chasm of difference between being skeptical and outright saying that something is crappy and will not work, don't you? It isn't so black and white. I'll be skeptical of anyone they hire, simply because I question the ability of Ross and Ireland to make smart decisions. Note that I said "be skeptical", though. I do not profess to know the future, and that was my point.

Well then we are on the same boat because I am skeptical too. I don't know how the new hire will turn out. I hope he is good enough to be here 20 years. But I will question it and I will air my criticisms if I feel they are warranted.
