This Super Bowl Looks Really Bad For The Dolphins

-Vic Fangio wins them the game. Fangio was right to get out of town and the soft as puppy poo environment here. An experienced football guy, he could tell this thing was going nowhere, and didn't want to be forced to coach in a way that was antithetical to his belief set about what makes a team successful.

-The Eagles are the polar opposite of the Dolphins. Tough. Tough in the trenches. Not about finesse and speed, and gimmicky crap. They just shove it down the opponents throat. We sent Wilkins and Rob Hunt packing and chose to invest the money in finesse and age (and Tua).

-DeVonta Smith catches the deep ball for the TD. Did we really need to do the dipsy doo dunkaroo and give up the draft capital to trade back up for Waddle? Smith is just as good, if not better.

-Howie Roseman smokes us on every trade.

-Jalen Hurts > Tua, and was a 2nd round pick, and they didn’t need to tank to get him. Doesn’t put up the gaudy stats, but is tough, and can beat good teams, and has balls and doesn’t choke all the time in big moments. And he can sneak the football too. The fact that we cannot run a QB sneak remains embarrassing.

-Eagles do not architect their team around keeping the QB healthy, they assume he will be OK, and build the rest of the roster the best they can.

-Eagles are a run first team.

-Cooper DeJean was drafted in the 2nd round. Compare him to Iggy, and Cam Smith. Instead we hand out massive contracts to old CBs on the decline. The Eagles drafted two CBs that can play (with Fangio probably having influence on those picks). Oh, and did I mention Fangio, he was right about Cam Smith too.
If the eagles lost is hurts better than Tua?

fangio wins a super bowl. we have d*ck. and you will keep making excuses. everything the dolphins do is right, which is why we haven't won a single playoff game in 24 years. must just be bad luck i guess
No. Just a different opinion on what the Dolphins have done wrong. They don't have the talent that Philly has, KC has, or just about any other team that made this playoffs this past season.

Until they have a front office who can bring in that talent, the Dolphins could have Lombardi as HC, Walsh as OC, and Belichick as DC and won't win it all. Fangio is a Super Bowl winning coach this season because of the talent Philly has on that side of the ball. The Dolphins don't have that. With Grier, they never will. I hope he proves me wrong though.

Philadelphia understands that you win in the trenches. That they pressured Mahomes all game without any blitzing shows what a dominant front four can do.

That's where Miami should concentrate its efforts in a draft that's setup for that. Fix the offensive line in free agency mostly.

Also, interesting that the Eagles ran the ball more than any other team.
The eagles also believe in metrics , their players are big long and strong. They may have a few players that might not conform but they are outliers.

The amount of confirmation bias you crave off this site is impressive lol
OP is just another self-hating loser, constantly flooding the board with trash.

Someone to be said for that. Their offensive line is absolutely huge.
Agreed, but not just the Oline, WR's are huge, the DL, those guys have have the wingspans of 747's and strength and speed to match. They abused the KC OL and I could see the their DL's would just get into the body of the OLs and put them skates play after play.

If I were a GM in the NFL I would take this from this game. I need a defense and powerful players in the trenches, I would not look for the overpriced QBs and receivers.
