Thoughts On This Play By Tua - Is The Commentator Right?

Tua is the most accurate thrower in the game

Sooooo missing any throw must be put in that context relative to the pack

I have my issues with the player but I do know what he’s the best at and it’s more than one thing

From what I remember on the all-22 on that play the safety had the angle on reek and it was very close on whether he’d be able to outrun him on the vertical so i remember thinking it was a good throw by Tua.

I could be wrong, gonna try to go back and watch it again.
yes. pls do and report back to headquarters. i am actually really curious. probably need a full top down view to know for sure. and on top of that, need more expertise than i have. my instinct is, a guy with more arm strength could drive the ball on more of a line (less air under it), get it there more quickly, and lead the WR to the end zone without the safety being able to impair the play. need to get the tape to @hoops ,my sense is of all of us on this entire forum, for whatever reason, he actually does seem to really know this stuff on a deeper technical level

That’s such utter garbage it’s embarrassing. Call a spade a spade you ****ing homer. That ball is underthrown.

Period.

The **** folks will go to to defend this qb that ain’t even legit.
Dude reason watches a lot of ball and tape. You did the same thing with qb 17. But reason legit knows his ****

Get the tape to reason

Please. That dudes a joke.
Please guy makes his own career as content creator.
. And got Omar Kelly in his feelings.

My point is he knows his **** and yes he makes excuses sometimes for tua but he calls him out. Sounds like hoop scoops to me. You did the same .

Lol I thought it was criminally bad until I saw the guy bracketing Hill at the end

instead its just a bad decision and yet so close to great ball placement

I provided much better content back in th day than any of this crap folks do now. From a play analysis standpoint.

Don’t loop me with that clown. Or Omar.

If that’s the case you’d be telling me that it’s a site adjustment by the qb.

You don’t throw site adjustment balls with that much air vertically.

I’m sure yall see that the whole back end of the defense is basically squatting there with one bail out top side db. That safety has inside seam responsibility.

I think yall are underestimating reeks straight line full gallop speed. If you squatting and hes straight line good luck

I’ll take a look when I get a chance but what you are saying definitely makes sense, maybe I did misremember…good analysis as always thanks

My point is that you both at times defended your guy aka excuse some of their play from time to time. Either qb 17 for you and qb 1 for reason

You should check out reason all 22 during season. It’s excellent.

I saw from the 22 angle

Just the play, the safety had no chance it was an under throw , based on his judgement where he thought the safety was would determine if it was under thrown that way on purpose. But we don’t know that

I have some doubts he'll even last that long physically, he has no chin left and other issues as well but I've never seen someone so easily concussed.
I haven’t seen him take any “easy” hits and get concussed. In fact, out of his 3 concussions, the GB one may be the “lightest” hit he took and we regularly see guys getting concussed when the back of their head hits the turf like that.

Well I can tell ya it’s not drawn up that way. So if the qb does make a site adjustment there (I don’t buy it) it’s a poor one. I think he runs out of arm relative to his mechanics on the play.

Which again to me says yeah Tua that’s on you boss.

Missed opportunity.
