Thursday's Camp report part one....

Thanks again.

Hey, I noticed no mention of Vernon Carey in the o-line report. How'd he do today?

See, something I forgot. Thanks for the reminder. Carey was killed by JT on one play, but man he was just fine the next. JT is taking a liking to Carey. They were letting him go up against Chris Solomona a lot today, and Carey handled him with EASE.

Cool. Thanks.

Am I noticing a trend here? It seems every day JT kills Carey once, and then he holds his own the rest of the time.

that's awesome that carey is starting to play some ball. if he can swap blows w/ jt, gameday will be a walk in the park for him.

Yep, practicing against the best DE in the game will make for a better player on game day. That is if you can actually play LT.

That's why I made sure I pointed out that when Carey went up against one of the Scrubs, he ate him for lunch.

Hey Oz, I'm coming over for practice tonight....I'll give you a ring. :)

Great report Oz,can't wait for part 2. I hope your mom feels better, sorry to hear shes sick. Thanks for the camp report.

Nice job once again.

Were you entertained?? ;)

Great work. It's nice to see Ricky seeking some contact. As much as I hate to see it, it looks like DT is edging out Boston for the #3 slot.

Lots of things to be excited about. Oz ... do you think Frerotte will capitalize on the additional exposure?

If you see a guy paying alot of attention to fat guys with a clip board in his hands taking serious notes as if studying for the CPA, that would be Ozzy. Thanks dude. Nice report!

Now my take on what I have read. Wade Smith aint gonna make it unless Houck sees something in him that he can use. Center is the biggest need now, taking over the LT spot, in which i think we have a potentially good LT in Carey and an experienced one who can come in in a pinch in Mccintosh. Our DL sounds deep and big on the inside all of a sudden. I had forgotten that we have Traylor! players still ariving in DAvie. We have a solid WR core IMO. Solid, not all pro (Chambers?). RB is deep. Like when have we ever been able to say that (1972?). I see stout D with serious razzle dazzle blitzing. Only injuries will hurt this group, but it sounds to me like our D is going to be doing the hitting.
AJ Feeley is an X factor to me. Whether he starts or not is not the question for me, it is that he can actually play QB in this system. Not shown anything at this point. Frerrotte gets the start on Monday i think. If Feeley starts, then they may just want to see him from a rusty stadnpoint coming into a game situation (which is supposedly what he is best at). thats all. Nice work Ozzy.
