Tight End

Who would you trade Clay for, one for one, all things considered?

What? Why would I trade Clay? Maybe I'm not making myself clear. I don't want to get rid of Clay. Am I not typing in English?

Meh...if you draft a guy like Jace Amaro you potentially have the equivalent of Gronkowski and Hernandez (without the off field issues) in Amaro and Clay. Ebron would also be a seem threat and someone in the mold of a Jimmy Graham, not saying he's the next Jimmy Graham, but he's that type of big bodies receiver that presents mismatches. Remember when we had Fasano and David Martin at TE when Chad Pennington first got here and how important they were to the passing offense. A combo of Amaro\Clay or Ebron\Clay would be even better.

yeah that's what i see the most with amaro...win option against lbs or safeties great catch radius...what this o needs...a size target that is a mismatch...would help down the seam would help in the red...just what we need...

SB2, having too many play makers is a good thing to have and something we haven't had in many, many years. If an impact OL player isn't there are you suggesting we draft a second tier OL player with the 19th pick?

Gronk, Old Man Gates still has some fuel left in that tank, Julius Thomas, Olsen, and Fleener is emerging, just off the top of my head.

Forgot about the other TE in Indy Dwayne Allen who was injured most of the year but he was fast rising before that. Also the other TE in San Diego opposite Gates, Ladarius Green is starting to emerge.

More teams are starting to go to two TEs that can create mismatches making it even more difficult on opposing defenses.

Yes I did! Talk about an offense that is being built right. I guess they didn't think, "well, we can't draft Allen because we already have Fleener, and we really don't want to overload our offense with playmakers."

when indy gets dwayne allen back that o takes another leap if he gets back to 2012 form...he's more important to them than wayne going forward...was a big loss for luck and the colts

the niklas kid is interesting for notre dame but i thought he was going back to school??? anyways that's clay you can mold just very raw...physical skill set reminds me somewhat of jordan cameron...may have to wait on him also like the browns had to with cameron too...

better blocker than cameron

Not at all. Depending on what shakes out of FA, I might go DT, CB, or S.

He declared for the draft. I would grab him and not even think twice about it. Good blocker, huge catch radius, nice hands, breaks tackles... yup. I want that.

not much production...still that's a good talent just very raw right now...but yeah that helps the class for sure...
