Titans Players Weigh In on Ricky's Return

I think Titans players should be more concerned about gearing up for their possible playoff run than worrying about our players. That aside I agree with pretty much what they say about the situation

Drew Rosenhaus said that Rickey weighs about 195 right now but thinks he is totally committed to putting on about 25 more pounds by opening day, if not, for sure by game 5 which is his first onfield action except for pre-season games. He has lots of time to get ready and for the sake of the team I'm rooting for him.

Why do you guys think the titians players are concerned with Ricky W., they're not, the local newspaper in their area asked them the question and they simply replied...if the paper didn't ask the question, you wouldn't be reading this..but it's good to see how other players perceived the potential comeback of one of the leagues best runner during his time here.

That was his point, if the thread annoys you, ignore and move on..NBF..why post something negative, when it's not necessary?

Over 7000 posts and this is the first time you have seen a negative uneccessary comment? I doubt that.

My point was a very credible one. Who cares what a team that has more problems than ours, thinks about Ricky Williams coming back? Esp when they haven't said anything that we haven't heard already.

You never know, those who made comment may be Dolphans. Kevin Carter was before he came to the Dolphins.

Obviously we do, since we read the article, that includes you...

Since a lot of posters made remarks unlike yours, you much acknowlege that someone does care and wanted to comment differently than you..not knocking your choice to comment the way you did..but sometimes I do wonder why people comment, if they don't care about a thread..I read plenty of threads, if they don't really engage me, or I don't care, I don't post in them.

Funny when I first read this thread, I had no idea that I would be commenting so much on it.

Just b/c I read the article, doesn't mean I find anything of value in it.
To me, this article is just another waste of time for all. The players interviewed aren't exactly team leaders, and what they say is the basic, "I love his talent but wouldn't trust him fully" comment.
I saw it as I first posted...a slow news day.......If you care about what the tight end on a team who is on the decline says about Ricky fine....then we differ there. I just don't see it.
I hear you about just making a negative comment, don't usually make them. But when I saw the cover on this site and the thread, I threw it out there. Couldn't help myself, my bad.

NYF, I'm not mad at ya, I'm having a bit of fun at your expense..I do mean what I said about ppl posting when they don't have anything to say, but it's nothing personal with you..so don't think it's anything...usually I like your posts and have read a lot of them...so this is much to do about nothing..Love it..Couldn't help myself..

It's all good....nothing else to do when bored at work.

Ya'll could look at it this way, 22ish more days until Camp, and news will be coming out of everyone's ears.

I am afraid what Muck posted, as trivial as it was, is as good as it is going to get until camp.

Let's just all thank God that the Titans players didn't really bash Ricky or any such nonsense. Then we'd be talking about this thread forever!

here's my input on useless posting........ The most useless post is "who cares" because it accomplishes nothing other than bringin attention to yourself. The 2nd worst is the " Where have you been? This has been posted 1,000 times already idiot." This atleast makes someone aware of something. Both can be considered attempts to belittle the orig. poster. and/or accumulate posts without having to use any thought.

Who cares? j/k

What I can't seem to understand is why it's coming the Titans???....

Why would they have anything to say, and why should we be listening???....

I could understand if this was coming from a division rival, but coming from a place like Tennessee, it just seems odd. Shouldn't this be coming from our players???...

He's correct when he says Ricky will need to be in football shape, and that he'll get hurt if his mind isn't in the game. That I agree with....

PHINZ RULE!!!

C'mon. Some of you need to think outside of the box here. I bet all of you who are saying what you just did were begging for viewpoints and commentary about Ricky from anybody related to football when it happened. I know I did.......

These Titan players are football players too. It's extremely pertanent information from just that fact alone. Doesn't matter that they're not AFC East. In fact those were some of the guys who beat up on us last year so they're closer to the situation than you give'em all credit for.
