Tom gamble wants dion Jordan in philly

This is the kind of Trade that ireland loved making....you know, using our first plus a 2nd to move up to get him and then giving him away for a low 1st only. Just like the Vontae trde and the Marshal trade where he got less in return than he paid for. Ireland just loved making those kinds of trades.

Ozzy rules!!

Straight up for Shady McCoy, maybe or for their first and second plus a decent lineman.

For goodness sakes, he was a rookie with practically no training camp...he will be fine!

I'd do it for their 1st round pick, their 3rd and next year's 1st/2nd. Don't like it then get bent Philly.

Exactly what I was thinking....You want him Philly, pay the price or shutup.

Yeah no way Im taking that. We just spent the #3 overall pick on the kid (while giving up our 2nd). He obviously needs to improve...but you arent getting anyone at pick 22 with better upside than Jordan.

However if they are willing to talk then I would listen. It would just take more than #22 for me to move Jordan at this point.

Gamble is right though that Jordan is a better fit for a 3-4 at the moment. Hopefully hes in the weight room as I type this.

Jordan and a conditional 3rd for. Desean Jackson - accept nothing less .....unless maybe their 2nd and Maclin.

I'd take their first for Wake though...

Evan Mathis or Jason Peters + #22 pick.. Or Lane Johnson #22 pick and 3rd rounder this year

Taking the #3 overall pick and trading him for the following year's #22 overall pick would be a move worthy of Jeff Ireland, right up there with the boneheaded sense of value that led to the two Brandon Marshall trades.

People need to get out of this mode of crowning stars or dumping players based on the very last thing they saw. Take the longer view, guys. Look at the pot odds.

A fly's memory is what? Five seconds? Sometimes I wonder if football fans are part fly.

He would not leave if I were GM

I think you have to at least take the call.. It would have to take something like what I proposed with Mathis or Peters + #22 or Lane Johnson and #22 and a 3rd rounder for me to trade him though.

This is really a non-story. The whole thing originated from a series of Tweets by Armando yesterday where he said that Gamble thinks Jordan would be a 3-4 stud linebacker. Armando then went on to SPECULATE that maybe the Eagles would offer the 22nd overall pick for him. Obviously once that gets passed through a few people the story has morphed into Gamble wanting to trade for Jordan, even though that isn't the case at this point.

Evan Mathis or Jason Peters + #22 pick.. Or Lane Johnson #22 pick and 3rd rounder this year

Now youre on to something. 22 + a player.

Thats exactly what Id ask for as well. 22 and Lane Johnson. But theres a fat chance of that happening
