Tom gamble wants dion Jordan in philly

Were the Browns dumb to dump the highly drafted Trent Richardson for a lesser pick? They got to kick the tires for a year and they decided they made a mistake drafting him. Our coaches got to see Jordan for a year and if they decide to trade him after spending the year with him, then it is probably a good decision. I don't think he fits in our 4-3 very well.

I'd listen, just because we're so deep at end. But not for their 22nd overall, that'd make no sense. It has to start at their 1st and 2nd, that's what we had to give up to move up. Maybe Lane Johnson, their 2nd this year and a future pick would be a decent get. Shore up the OL with a prospect who is controllable and under contract (eventho he had a rough year). We'd definitely have to get more in return than we took to move up, otherwise makes no sense. Dion should have more value now just with the added year of experience.

Guys, Dion Jordan was a major reach. Honestly, I dont think he will ever live up to being a top 5 pick. I hope I'm wrong but I'm going on what I saw. Miami's entire rookie class hardly contributed this year besides Sturgis.

Get it done. He was surplus then. Hes surplus now. And if its not evident how badly we need OL now...

For us, Jordan is not the difference between being a contender or not. If there is anything a 1st round pick should be, its a difference maker, an immediate contributor.

Two #1 picks is a helluva beginning for a new GM and we'll know much about him fast.

The value is in the player, not the selection slot. Concluding that we've lost value because we essentially traded a #3 for a #22 is foolish. If we pick up an Olineman who contributes to the immediate solidification of our offensive line, then its a banner trade.

The pick that was traded to move up was lost the moment a team overflowing with DEs moved up to select a DE. There is no getting that back.

IMO, this trade would be a cuo for Miami which leads me to believe that its too good to be true further leading me to believe thats it BS.

Saw the link on eagledelphia.com saying that eagles want him for the 22nd pick and how he would flourish in a 3-4

miami isn't dumb enough todo this are they?

Well we traded Brandon Marshall to Chicago for two garbage #3 picks didn't we....oh wait the jackass that engineered that trade is no longer here THANK GOD!!!

No.....I wouldn't trade him. Too early to tell for sure, but the Jordan has great up side.

I wouldn't trade him - geez we just traded all the way up for him. Let's see what he's got.

Keep your guys! Have we not learned yet? The guy was a pup last year...once he heals and grows some hair on his chest he's going to be a top player, book it.

Emergence of Vernon? Let's not act like Vernon is an every down havoc player. I think Jordan can be good, but not on this team. I would probably do it too, but not because of Vernon.

Noway would i trade a 1st rd pick #3 over all for a 1st rd pick #22 over all EVEN ? NOT NO , BUT HELL NOOOOOO , the value of that would atleast be there #22 over all and a 2nd round pick , then we would talk , until then GET LOST !!!!!!!!!!!! ....

Well if they're willing to give up a 1st for him they're willing to give up more.

No way we trade Jordan....he is going to be a beast and disruptive in the pass game for a decade. It's the perfect time to trade Wake though. He is at his prime and on the wrong side of 30. We have more than adequate people waiting in the trenches. Jordan, Vernon and Shelby as the rotational guy.

Take a page from Belichek's book and trade our best player while he still has some gas in the tank. I like Vernon, Odrick, Soliai, and Jordan. This could be a great front and they are the future.

would not trade for just the #22.

would have to be multiple picks. Give this new GM some picks to really get going with this year.

IF in fact, we plan to play jordan a **** ton more this year than we did last year, than I probably keep him. If we dont' think, in this system he is ever going to be more than a 3rd down pass rusher.. absolutely move him for multiple picks.
