For us, Jordan is not the difference between being a contender or not. If there is anything a 1st round pick should be, its a difference maker, an immediate contributor.
Two #1 picks is a helluva beginning for a new GM and we'll know much about him fast.
The value is in the player, not the selection slot. Concluding that we've lost value because we essentially traded a #3 for a #22 is foolish. If we pick up an Olineman who contributes to the immediate solidification of our offensive line, then its a banner trade.
The pick that was traded to move up was lost the moment a team overflowing with DEs moved up to select a DE. There is no getting that back.
IMO, this trade would be a cuo for Miami which leads me to believe that its too good to be true further leading me to believe thats it BS.
