Tony Romo sends warning to the rest of nfl (that includes us) about the Pats

It's truth.

Tua better prove something this year. You know it and I know it. Everyone is hyping up Jones like Tua last year.
Let's see if the Patriots can finally win without some sort of cheating and Kraft staying away from Asian rug and tug "salons"

Tua was considered a candidate for top overall pick prior to the injury.

Mac Jones was considered (approximately) a third round prospect.

Until the chatter started that SF was considering Lance and Jones at #3, it was a long shot that Jones would get squeezed up into the first round in the annual QB scramble.

There was no chance in the universe a team at #3 was drafting Jones, let alone a team that gave up a king's ransom to trade up into that spot.

If the Pats didn't reach for him he probably falls out of the first round.

He's just not a good pro prospect, brother (and even if he turns out to be, genius draft guru Bill could have taken him (much) later).

You will see.

Most here didn't even expect him to see the field last year.

Several months removed from a potentially career-ending injury (and the surgery), any experience he was able to get was a bonus.

Problem is that people in here assume they know his health status. The other thing we often see is that he has this check down charlie mindset. Why is that a bad thing? Why would you want to have a qb that is constantly pushing the ball when they don't have to? If anything Tom Brady was a "check down charlie" for the longest. The Patriots were extremely manageable with their athletic fast wide receiving sets, and their Troy Browns, Welkers, and etc. Using a short distance passing game, and a spread like offense at one point. Tom would check down then dump it off to the rb. It worked for BB right? Tom later on had a better instinct to find receivers open as he gained more experience in the field as both a leader, and a passer. Wouldn't we want the same thing from Tua? Rather than hope we pressure him to making mistakes?
