solai has not been among the best nt in the league no matter who wants to rate them this year. i wonder why our defense cant stop anybody if he is taking on three guys by himself

as for cameron wake we are not going to superbowl next year so he is worth more in trade than anything else right now

when has smith performed great this year

2. Cameron Wake
3. Vontae Davis
4. Mike Pouncey
5. Daniel Thomas

Top 5 I'd be looking to trade:

1. Brandon Marshall
2. Vernon Carey
3. Sean Smith
4. Randy Starks
5. Chad Henne
 
Why is Marshall and Davis on everyones list? These guys have sucked hard this season
 
1. Jake Long - When 100% he is the best OT in the game.

2. Mike Pouncey - Has more upside than his brother, more athletic. Gonna be great for years.

3. Daniel Thomas - He is gonna be the horse for this team for years. I think he'll be better than Matt Forte, said that before the season.

4. Vontae Davis - Vontae has the goods, I think the secondary has really struggled due to communication more than anything else. He definitely has top 10 CB potential, been a little beat up this year.

5. Cameron Wake - Probably gives more effort than anybody on the team and our only legit pass rusher. Despite his age, he is a definite keeper until you find another decent pass rusher.

I don't think Vontae Davis suddenly got permanently worse. I think you have to look at the work he did last year as making him a promising guy for a long time. Very sure tackler and a good cover guy, too. At least a very good #2 corner that IMO you definitely keep if you're talking about forming a long-term nucleus here.

In today's game you can't just ****-can good corners. Gotta hang on to those guys.

Likewise for pass-rushers, which is why Wake is #2 on my list even though he's down quite a bit compared to last year.

Gotta be able to defend the pass these days or you're done.

What is really sad is not his age, it is that he is the 2nd best pass rusher on this team.

Odrick, Langford, Starks, Bess are close behind. Then Smith, Fields, DT, and maybe Jones. But then that's about it. The other 40 players are pretty much expendable. Which is scary.

We should do everything in our power to get high picks for Marshall and Wake... We can go winless just as easily WITHOUT them.

Jared Odrick
Vontae Davis

and THAT'S IT everyone else needs to be disposed of via trade or just flat out released.
