Nothing will happen. A sell off is a death sentence for this administration. Grier will sit tight and McDaniel will try to win as many games as possible to convince Ross it was just bad luck and they can are legitimate contenders next year. It’s not true but Ross will accept it because he is old and doesn’t want to rebuild.

I'd actually argue the contrary, a sell off means Grier is secure and is getting a mulligan.... again
Retaining the players would indicate the next GM will get to choose what he wants to do with the talent on the roster
I’m guessing we stay the course but would be open for trading anyone. I just hope Ross doesn’t buy the injury excuse for this. It’s time for a new GM. Let them evaluate McD and start building a roster the right way.

I highly doubt we’ll trade anyone. This year was a soft reset with all the low cost free agents. Hopefully we bring in a new Gm and nail our draft. We have the talent but we’re missing some pieces. Plus we’re paying some guys too much money to trade them right now.

I don’t think we should rebuild but we’ve had bad injury luck now 4 years in a row. There needs to be a change in philosophy as far as the players we bring in at a minimum

The decision will come next Tuesday morning. Win in LA (we won't), then you can rattle off a few and get to 5-6 and then who the hell knows... If they lose, then you start unloading and then culminate it with Grief getting the axe and then start the rebuild.

McCoach has shown some improvement the last two games. He's called a balanced air and ground attack. Tua and the OLine had a very good day. It's the defense that has been the biggest disappointment, that and some boned headed individual mistakes on both sides of the ball and ST's.
Where I find fault with the team is the overall roster. A few good frontline players but wholly insufficient quality in back up players. This coupled with signing aging, overpriced, oft injured veterans not performing, wasted draft picks and allowing home grown talent to leave. We are in contract/cap hell for the next two years. All of this is on GRIER. I'm eagerly awaiting Ross's announcement tomorrow that Grier has been transferred to a different position in the organization and one of our asst. staff members assume his duties on an interim basis. McCoach gets the rest of the year to prove his worth.
Who we might be willing and able to trade is TBD.

Maybe Campbell for like a 7th if theres a team that needs DL depth. Or Ogbah I guess.
Let's face it, bad teams are usually bad for a reason. The players aren't great. I'm really not sure we could get any decent picks for what we have. It's all bad, overpriced, or old.

I’d like to see Campbell get a shot at a SB. He’s a good guy with a high motor right now. Trade Holland. Get something for him now. I just don’t see a future for him here. Ogbah probably won’t go anywhere with the torn bicep. Don’t think teams would be interested in a guy with that type of injury right now. I don’t think anyone will take on Ramsey or Hill’s contracts, but if there is an offer, TAKE IT! I’m on the fence with Waddle. I know he is our future, but he needs to get tougher. Thought the guy had a season ending injury today the way he slammed the ground with his hand and took off his helmet. He had a cut from being cleated. It sure if anyone else will generate much. Wilson or Mostert maybe? Take what you can get for anyone we have right now.
Sadly, we are going to get this same trash product the rest of this season and next. Possible light at the end of the tunnel after next season when it’s the same results as this season and changes will start to happen.
Unless Grier & his scouting dept is completely purged, nothing will change. Ross needs to upgrade Grier for someone who can build a roster & bring in the right football ppl to revive the dolphins empire!
