Trade Deadline Predictions

The decision will come next Tuesday morning. Win in LA (we won't), then you can rattle off a few and get to 5-6 and then who the hell knows... If they lose, then you start unloading and then culminate it with Grief getting the axe and then start the rebuild.
The trade deadline is this coming Tuesday, the 5th, so the result of the Rams game won’t have any impact.

Edit: spelling

The last two games have actually made me feel better about McDaniel. He has shown the ability to adjust. The offensive game plans have been very impressive the last two weeks, and the offensive line hasn't been killing itself with mistakes.

What does this mean? Is he worth salvaging? Well, I think that's the biggest question moving forward.

As to trades, Campbell as a veteran who wants a shot at a super bowl, might be the best bet.

It would be difficult, contract-wise, to trade Hill or Ramsey unless it involved a high priced player in return.

Holland has value, but is hurt.

This is true.

Also, other than a few plays, these last 2 weeks also show the offense and specifically Tua can function fine without Hill and Waddle. I am not saying our offense would be better. But back to back 27 point games and 400+ yards of offense( I am not counting the negative 30 yards on the last play) with very little contribution from Hill or Waddle shows they are not the key or what makes the offense work.

Dude if Grier trades away premium picks at 2-6….. watch him do it too. And watch it be for an injury prone player on an expiring contract followed by a big extension.

He’s not going anywhere lol.

Unless they are trading for Micah Parson and Jalen Carter, there's not much they can do.

In fairness, yesterday's game was probably the hardest game left on the schedule. So you can argue they could possibly run the table if they play like yesterday the rest of the year.

So that would imply defense. ILB and DT or DE respectfully. But I hope we sure as hell do not waste any more assets this season on DE or pass rush. So that leaves ILB and DT. Who's out there that would make a diferrence?

I would love to beef up the offensive line and or get a real tight end and would be willing to trade waddle or cheetah to do it

Maybe Grier wasting more resources this season is a good thing.

When we miss the playoffs it would be another awful decision on the scales for Ross to fire him.

He already traded away our 3rd for a RB who we seldom use.

I would trade Mostert but we won't because McDaniel loves him.

Other than that with the trade market as it is, we really aren't going to get value by trading away players.

Does anybody really think another team would give us a 3rd for Holland? If not then we might as well keep him and get a comp pick if we don't resign him.

I keep hearing all we would get is a 7th for Campbell. If thats the case then just keep him. Maybe we can convince him to return next year in a reduced capacity. He can still be very effective in small doses. He is just not a full time player anymore and we always need depth.

All Cam Robinson netted the Jags is a 7th. So trading Armstead for a 6th or 7th is not worth it to me. Maybe he can return next year. We already have his backup in place, Paul for when he misses games. We have so many needs as it is, we don't want to add LT to the list.

No, no disagree totally. There doesn't need to be any more evidence or bad decisions to fire Grier.
If Ross cares one iota about his billion dollar investment he doesn't allow his awful GM any more chances to devalue it.

I hope there's one smart person to tell Ross that it's time to sell and prep for the next offseason and the only real options they have to get better are through a better GM making better draft picks.

Drew drumming up business.

Who would Miami be targeting? Who on earth would make a difference mid-season?
