Trade down or Trade up?

If one of those qbs fall to 19 that puts Miami in a great position to trade down.

If teams in the top 7 pass on QB's early, 19 could be a spot where Cleveland could make a move up from 26. Maybe an additional 3rd and 5th for that move? I'd be good with it if our player isn't there

Trade down. Someone will fall to 19, and someone will be desperate to trade up. Would love an extra 2nd or 3rd.

if Taylor Lewan is there around 12-13...you know Ross will be thinking about it!!

Does Ross actually have any say in the draft, let alone the final say? I know he is the owner but I remember reading that his front office is in charge of who comes or goes.

I'm using a hypothetical, not saying these types of guys are there, but would you rather have a Calvin Johnson on your team or Rodger Safford and Zane Beadles? One great playmaker or two solid O-linemen?

Seems like a majority of the teams always say they want to trade down, but rarely do (probably because so few teams want to trade up). However, lately it seems there's always one or two players (usually QB's) that slide way down in the draft from what the experts think is going to happen. If we can get some decent pick(s) out of moving down and still get an impact player in the spot we are moving to, why not. But all this happens on the fly the day of the draft, so we are going to need to be more flexible than in past years.

Trading back would be nice to pick up a few extra picks. I wouldnt mind trading up for Ebron or Mike Evans, but thats it.

If there was ever a year to trade down in the draft it is this year. The next question, is there anyone willing to trade with the team?
