I like that Gesicki wants to improve but I have my doubts that he actually can. Catching isn’t a weakness, it his lack of ability to separate.

I think a 4-2-5 alignment is their base defense - and RM isn't one of the two linebackers they want in that package.

I get that, but I don't think it's that bad. Rosen will get his chance regardless, and as far as drafting higher... A solid season of overachieving will do more for my confidence on this team going forward than a dreadful showing that gives us the #1 overall.

Oh I completely agree but with one caveat: 8 wins with Rosen shows we might have our franchise qb, 8 wins with Fitz contributing some or most costs us our chance for a franchise qb and is a complete and utter disaster.

Exactly my concern although I don't think there is a chance we could win 8 games with Dan Marino at quarterback.

Time stamps suggest that practice was lasted under two hours. It's not surprising there are so many injuries in the NFL. These guys are barely conditioned for a walk around the mall.
