I'll say this about putting Tripp in at MLB. There's a good chance it could shore things up, simply because at the moment we look appallingly weak against the run.
But I thought Misi was good for his first time out in the middle and the guy has clearly BUST his ass to be the best Mike he can be. I think he deserves a little more time to show us his goods. Taking Misi out for Tripp is essentially penalizing Misi for Ellerbe and Wheelers shortcomings. In the overall scheme, maybe that's the kind of harsh call we will need to make. Just not yet, IMO. Misi needs a shot at this and I saw enough against ATL to think he can hold it down.
Wish I could say the same for the other two. Tackling practice isn't the answer, iirc the same lame remedies were trotted out last season and we were a tackling disaster.
