I like the idea that we had two great HoF QBs play one after the other and went #12 and #13. Having Tua wear #14 would thus be really poetic and cool. However, the only way that's happening is if Fitzy comes out in OTAs and minicamp showing that his arm is totally shot.

Or Fitz does the professional thing and offers him the number if that’s what Tua want or sells it to him like we hear happens every once and awhile with other players wanting a certain number..

#8 he is a lefty, Steve Young and Mark Brunell both lefties wore #8 and are two of the best lefties to play

That’s what I also thought, but 2 right now is Matt Haack. Although I can’t see a punter denying the new franchise QB his number if he really wanted it
