Tua Tagovailoa has given Dolphins answers they needed and earned new contract

I wont disagree but lets see how he plays vs the Bills and in the playoffs, that´s what really matters the games that really count
agree but barring a complete fail by him, I don't think it will affect his value much. Starting QBs get their due and he has played about as good as possible. Team game, he has earned it whether we want to pay him or let him roll out.

Yes but Grier must try to negotiate a friendly contract, TUA is extremely dependent on Oline and star receivers. plus we need to keep some players like AVG and Wilkins.

I hear you but that friendly contract will be north of 40mil per year, anything less and he'll be the laughingstock of the NFL

After 50 games to start a career, since 2004,

Tua is 7th in Rating and 9th in yards per pass attempts out of 69 QBs who got to play 50 games in the NFL in that span. Letting that dude walk with the hope you'll do better is ****ing madness.

I am really against paying any one player that much money but I feel like we are handcuffed here. I would sign Tua to a lofty contract and bring in more competent guys to back him up.

Pay the man. And away with the horse fly shet talkers who keep talking about finding a replacement for our QB.
Tua earned it last season. Grier ****ed him again by holding a press conference saying that the concussions weren’t precedence setting but then only picked up his 5th option. Tua watched Burrow & Herbert get immediate extensions, and Hurts & Lamar get mega contracts as well.

Tua keeps receipts. He switched agents last offseason and will be setting the market rate for a starting Pro Bowl QB.

Tua will be joining the $50+M QB club.

PlayerTotal
Value
Avg./Year
Joe Burrow$275,000,000$55,000,000
Justin Herbert$262,500,000$52,500,000
Lamar Jackson$260,000,000$52,000,000
Jalen Hurts$255,000,000$51,000,000
Russell Wilson$245,000,000$49,000,000
Kyler Murray$230,500,000$46,100,000
Deshaun Watson$230,000,000$46,000,000
Patrick Mahomes$450,000,000$45,000,000
Josh Allen$258,000,000$43,000,000
Matt Stafford$160,000,000$40,000,000
Dak Prescott$160,000,000$40,000,000
Daniel Jones$160,000,000$40,000,000

If he is so valuable, lets put him on the trading block for 4 X 1 picks. I would be willing to wager that McD can make another QB quite functional in his sytem.

Our O-line isn`t as good as everyone thinks . Tua because of his quick release makes this O-line look better then what it is . If he`s not able to find someone in time for that release that`s when the problems happen . So dependent on the O-line lol um nope . If the O-line was improved would it help umm ya of course it would . Give him more time then what this O-line gives him and he would be untouchable . And believe it or not Tua isn`t the only Elite QB in the nfl that needs star receivers . How`s Mahomes doing without a star receiver or Allen before Diggs .
