Tua Tagovailoa has given Dolphins answers they needed and earned new contract

Admittedly, ungrateful was harsh and I shouldn't have went there. The point is Tannehill was actually 3rd ALL TIME in passing yards in first four seasons when he did it and got passed by Herbert and Dak since. I don't get the argument that he wasn't "worth" the contract extension.

The fact of the knee injury was afterwards, it sucks, but dude earned that contract with his play. Tuff luck the team was mediocre and played in the same division as the GOAT. Count me in the biggest die hard Tua fans on here but Tua and Allen get to fight for the division on Sunday because Brady is no longer around.

And I am very hopeful our guy turns up, kicks some a$$ and leads us to a division title.
Doesn’t mean I can’t expect a playoff win.

Tua can’t move, he has the worst arm in the league, is really not that accurate when push comes to shove and when you pressure him he folds like a lawn chair.

People want to pay $50m a year for that? Basically a midget, un-athletic version of Ryan Tannehill? Really?
Both of Yall got some weird crap going on at the Holliday Inn express

Tua has not cost the Dolphins one game this year and in fact in the games we loss at least every game there was a drop TD pass. Recap

Baltimore: The Defense gave up 56 and two drop TD passes
Tenessee: Defense gave up a 13-point lead with 2:42 left to play.
Kansas City: Tyreek fumbles and drops a TD
Philadelphia Refs and Tyreek drops a easy TD enough said
Buffalo: Defense gave up 48pts

Who let Skip Bayless start posting on the forum?

Get your head out of your arse, watch some games and come to your own opinions.

I'm assuming this is your opinion....

Arm strength comparison's of NFL QB's have Tua rated 13th - 15th overall or about the middle of the NFL pack. His accuracy is top 5 with most analysis having him in the top 3 and at last look was leading the NFL in that category. Tua also does well against the blitz....

He actually can move when it's not the entire DL coming straight at him at the snap. And you've lost your mind saying he's not that accurate.
But again, this misinformation is coming from another hater from the start. Next....

Exactly.

He makes defenders miss often. .

But when he needs to consistently evade 3 defenders up the middle and both tackles got pushed back to take away the outside, it's very difficult to avoid those sacks or pressure.

It's also not as simple to say he should just throw it away. When by time you take your 3rd step and you ALREADY need to evade a defender.... again, it's not easy to just throw it away.

However, that is an area Tua can improve on.

But if McDaniel can dial up some roll outs for Tua, I think that would help alot.

Team game genius.

The sad thing is. I could see Tua throwing for 500 yards, 6 TDS, have a perfect rating in the wild card game. However, 1 second was left on the clock. The other team run the KO back for a TD and Miami loses.

Those same posters will post how Tua still couldn't win a playoff game

From this thread.

Tua has to beat Buffalo to get an extension.

Or

Tua has to win a playoff game to get an extension.

Or

Tua has to win multiple playoff games to get an extension

Or

Tua has to win a Superbowl to get an extension.

Why are no other QBs held to this standard when they get an extension?
