Supply and demand has been alive and well for many centuries. Why get worked up about it.

bro, I know what an agents job is, I also know that the player can instruct the agent to work with the team so both parties can call it fair and to keep him informed of all objections and stipulations, so if there is a time where the player can step in and say listen, I do not want you to try and get everything humanly possible that straps the team in some way, I want to make sure the team can continue to build around me.

What you want is never going to happen. It's just not.

He could, but why would he?

Would you forego a raise so your employer can pay another employee more?

If you say "that's not the same", I disagree. Human nature is human nature. The only difference is the number of digits on the pay check.

Again, you are looking at it from the perspective of a fan. No high level corporate entity worth a hundred fifty million operates that way. None.

I'm not arguing it from a pro or anti Tua POV. The specific individual is irrelevant.
teams sports is different than corporate America

I stated why I think he should and I dont think he has the leverage to do any different

Interesting perspective.

Why, and how so?

I think Tom Brady showed the blueprint no?if he did it everyone should do it no?

Corporate America is climbing the ladder, another ones failure can be my gain.

Team sports, each individual part affects the other bottom line.

Plus he doesn’t have enough of a resume to take this hard stance which is by some of y’all he should tell his agent to get everything he can at all cost, just because that’s the way it is.

Well no I dont agree with that from Tuas perspective, to do that would lack self awareness and perspective of all the variables that have transpired since he entered the league and his accomplishments

I think there a a couple different ways to look at it.

I think McDs philosophy is "Tua friendly" and if I were him, I wouldn't take it for granted.

How many other teams have amassed the skill position speed and firepower?

Bengals gave Burrow- Chase/Higgins/ Boyd and Mixon
Chargers gave Herbert- Williams/Allen and Ekeler
Eagles gave Hurts- Smith/Brown and a top running game.
49ers gave Purdy- Deebo/ Aiyuk/ McCaffrey/ kittle.

They all have also provided a competent pass blocking o line, or worked every off season to improve it

Other teams gave provided plenty of firepower for their young QBS.

Miami has or had the advantage with speed, that's it. They have no more firepower then a lot of these other teams.

That changed this season for Chargers and Bengals

Those teams also have stable QB situations.

The premise involved Tua's evident options if an agreement couldn't be reached. No more, no less.

Do you think any of those teams would be realistic, viable landing spots should Tua be disgruntled to the point of moving on? That was the context.

Ahhh, I see. I simply focused on the talent amassed part..

I had a feeling I didn't fully get the context of your post.

My bad Mach! Makes much more sense now lol

True true. I don't have a problem with McDaniel. I love him and believe him and Tua can work magic together

I don't blame him for Griers ineptness.

But McDaniel and Tua are screwed with Grier and Ross. No amount of Chop Robinsons and Calais Campbell's will or would have changed the outcome of that week 18 game against the Bills last year. But a line that could actually block would have.

This GM keeps doubling down on stupid. But atleast we won the off season again, without doing anything to upgrade our biggest and most obvious weakness.
I am really starting to feel sorry for Tua after reading some of these posts. I forgot how bad we are handicapping him. Poor thing, we only signed a new center and used our 2nd round pick on a OT. Then to compound matters he only has Tyreek Hill, WADDLE, OBJ and Jonnu Smith to throw too while the backfield is a joke with Mostert, Achane and Wright. How do we keep setting Tua up to fail? I mean no QB in the league would want to be surrounded by this ****. Oh I forgot the idiot coach who’s slow to get the play in and the plays he does call on time lack imagination.

If only Tua had a better surrounding cast, he would really be something I tell ya. The Patriots or Steelers deserve him, they would do their darnedest to help him. If he was with one of those teams he would have never lost to the Bills in 2020 with the playoffs on the line, never lost to the Titans in 2021 with the playoffs on the line, never have lost to SF, LA and Buffalo in 2022 with the division on the line, never lost to almost every playoff team he faced in 2023 as well as a miserable winless on the road Titans team at home on Monday Night Football, again with the division on the line. They would have gotten him a guard damnit and well, you would have seen the difference!

Love you Gryph but common man, if Tua requires near perfection around him we have a problem. You think Grier is stupid but most of the QB’s in the league would kill for this set up.

The qb market price has been set. How the guaranteed money is distributed is all that matters. Anyone who thinks any different are delusional.

This is FH

Not sure what this post means?

So in your opinion Tua needs all pro team to achieve?

Cya in December when many others will start griping about the o line again.

Don't need perfection, just need a competent pass blocking o line.
