This is probably what Tua wanted money wise. Might have to give him more now. Crazy times there’s only a handful of really good QBs in the world - it’s a well paying job

Every single GM and scout in the NFL would take him in their top 5 going forward in a QB draft
I agree on Lawrence (although admit to perhaps having not seen enough of him to properly judge). I have been watching Tua closely however, and even if he ends up being paid in line with the current highest paid QBs, within 2 or 3 years whatever he is getting will look like a bargain. In fact, might be better to go big now so that a few years down the road, he does not need seek a new contract simply to feel properly compensated.
We know he's our guy, and a damn good one both on and off the field. Minimal risk, pay the man as needed.
It's possible there is still a chance Tua comes in at around $50m per. But I'd not be surprised if it's closer to $60m. My guess is between $55m-$60m.
