Had Miami signed Tua shortly after the last qb signed, like a day or two later or even a week later, Miami would have signed for around the same amount as Lawrence.

I'm starting to think the final number will now be a lot higher now, like $58 mil, caused primarily by indecision on the part of the organization.

I don't want to see this, but I will not be surprised if its $58 mil plus. This could have been avoided.
 
I am grateful the forum has a feature that allows me to mute the drunken guy stammering in the corner about his lost love and the big one that got away.

Broncos would be all over Tua and Nix would be on the street in a second if Tua is available. Payton would absolutely jump on the chance to recreate his offense with the saints. Tua is a Brees clone and would thrive under Payton.

Giants if Daboll survives the year. Jones’ guaranteed money I believe is over end of this year and Daboll was Tua’s OC at Alabama and begged Saban to play Tua over Hurts but Saban refused. Daboll got his wish at the halftime of the national championship game and I believe you know what happened.

Wouldn’t put it past Tomlin and the steelers, both Russ and Fields free agents after this year and that defense has carried that team for years, honestly wouldn’t be asked much


I’m not going to go through team by team as coaches will change so who knows for all we know some of these rookies look awful some of the guys like Bryce Young may not improve, any team that’s not committed to a 40-50 million guy with ton of guaranteed money is an option. At the very least Tua is a well like player with a huge Polynesian and Alabama following that will put fans in the seats. He’s constantly finishing as a top vote getter in the pro bowl and jersey sales, nfl is a business after all.

During the past year or two has any team contacted the Dolphins to offer their draft pick (s) or player (s) in exchange for Tua?

Take out those first two year injuries and really only concussions in year 3 which was arguably our staffs fault for misdiagnosis. Either way concussions are a fluke injury and after a year of his brain healing no longer a concern.

My guess is no, and more than anything else the reason is lack of mobility. NFL team's want a QB who can extend a play by moving around in the pocket and, or run the ball for some forward progress.

Because he knows unless Grier posts on this sight no one knows jack **** about it. The only reason we know anything about Tua’s contract negotiations is because of his reputation. The Dolphins front office doesn’t leak unless they want something to get out.

- Given the concussion/injury history, a real chance this is Tua's last mega contract.

- Miami/McDaniel has shown nothing but support for Tua going forward.

- Basic agent greed/getting the most for his client.

Tua sells tickets and gets Miami on TV, the $$ investment/risk works for the Dolphins...

What pocket ? The first and most important thing NFL teams want in a QB is a passer and quess what .. Dolphins have one of if not the best passer

Has anyone contacted the Bills to offer draft pick(s) and/or player(s) in exchange for Allen?

Has anyone contacted the Ravens to offer draft pick(s) and/or player(s) in exchange for Jackson?
